Also, I don't know whether the idea was to just create a playlist that people can listen to in their cars or actually make a playlist appropriate and considerate of a road trip, but I tried to do the latter. The idea was to do the latter (something that you might listen to on a road trip).

My road trip playlist for Sasquatch consists of:
Mogwai - Young Team -and- Explosions in the Sky - The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place
in their entireties. This is how I drive fast.
If we have extra time I let my brother play his iPod and ask him to explain to me how to tell the difference between Pretty Lights' songs.

Headin' to Sasquatch 2012Here's my take on a solid road trip album exclusively for Sasquatch 2012. Favorite song of the bunch for the car is Morgan Freeman's Selected Filmography by Yellow Ostrich. What an amazingly awesomely annoying sing-a-long! 1. My Volvo (Sabzi Remix) - Grynch 2. The Gulag Orkestar - Beirut 3. Dictaphone's Lament - Tycho 4. Landscape at Speed - Shearwater 5. Party Talk - Craft Spells 6. We Went Wild - Lord Huron 7. Morgan Freeman's Selected Filmography - Yellow Ostrich 8. Hearts - I Break Horses 9. Canadian Girl - The Walkmen 10. Chinese Translation - M. Ward 11. All Land Crabs and Divinity Ghosts - The Cave Singers 12. Truckdrivin Neighbors Downstairs - Beck 13. Mogwai Fear Satan - Mogwai grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/Sasquatch+2012+Road+Trip+Mix/69046956

I listened to it today, I really liked it. I even left it going when I went to work! It got noticed/heard by my cats for a few hours. Who coulda known that I accidentally hit "loop songs".

Oh, this sounds promising. I'll have to work one when I get some time this week...maybe later tonight.
