Not going to lie, I liked "We Are Young" when I first heard it, but after a few more listens I find it insufferable. The Conan performance was wretched. fun. is easily the worst band booked for Sasquatch. Please don't make them the board meet up.

I fundamentally object to Fun., and the fact that they're all hot shit just makes it worse.

I fundamentally object to Fun., and the fact that they're all hot shit just makes it worse. Well, fun as a band isn't really popular. Just the one song that's all over the radio.

UH OH FUN GOT POPULAR? I DONT LIKE THEM NOW I never said I didn't like them because they got popular. I still have yet to hear them on the local "Alt" radio station, so I didn't even realize they started picking up steam. I just liked the sound of the song at first, but then grew tired of it after a few listens.

Enough fun. talk.
Anyone else as interested in sippin' bourbon and shacking off a jig to The Cave Singers as I am? Hell, I might even light up a full flavor cig.

Listened to Dark Funeral by Mark Lanegan Band, fucking brilliant! Never heard any of his previous stuff, but this album really hit the spot. Pretty much jumped up into my top 5 acts to see this year. Can't wait for some Ode to Sad Disco at the Gorge!

No masturbation jokes......I thought we went over this. My bad. I've just always had a thing for chicks with tattoos wearing trucker hats and tank tops. I guess I got a little carried away this time. As on second glance...

I feel like fun might not be a good place for a board meet-up they aren't bad in a good way like Biffy, they just seem bad in a... bad way.
What about the Sheepdogs? I know nothing about their music, and if they're any good or not, but their picture makes me think total Biffy.

I support Fun. for the board meetup. Or at least one of several board meetups. Have to get belligerently drunk and converge on the worst act on the lineup, and that is obviously Fun..

I guess you're right. There really can be no other Biffy anyway.

So anyone know about how many more adds can be expected? Or are we just about locked in +/- cancellations?

I am holding out hope for Built to Spill but who knows. I don't remember how many adds they had last year.

I think I said it somewhere else on here recently, but in my opinion, the adds this year have already FAR outshone any other year since 2008 as far as quality goes. If there are any more bands added which I have even a slight inclination to see, then my head will surely explode. Do it Zachs, I dare ya

I feel like they've already added more artists so far this year than other years. I've also been kind of wondering if another well known name would be added if the festival indeed fails to sell out. I'm not implying that it would be anywhere near this level, but Prince was a late add to Coachella when that year wasn't selling out as fast as they hoped. Maybe another middle tier act could be possible for Sasquatch if that's the case??

IIRC, Prince was always the plan, he just wasn't sure he would be physically able until right before the event, and Portishead was uniquely positioned to be a headliner if necessary or kick-ass subheadliner if not.

I remember so well because I had tickets that year that I sold right before the Prince announcement, and it irks me to this day.

The Coachella board kids tell a different story, but I sure as hell have no idea what the truth was haha.
