I regret missing Yeasayer playing 'Tightrope', but that's about the only track they're playing anymore that I'd care to hear. I'd rather sit and listen to Wayne bullshit for twenty minutes than have to hear them play most of the shit that was on Odd Blood, so that's what I did. I actually like Odd Blood, but that was before i had heard any of their other stuff so I had nothing to compare it to. Definitely a grower of an album though...I can see why you find it so distasteful. WHY? would be fucking amazing, incidentally. Definitely rocked the Yeti in 10 despite it being the Yeti stage...Yoni's dance moves are beautiful. I was hella choked missing their Seattle show because of the broken arm business, so Squatch would be a great way to make it up...but if they arent there, I hope the following tour at least makes a pit stop in Vancouver. I can't remember the last time they were here.

As long as Odd Future doesn't show up, I could really care less at this point.

For some reason I keep getting Odd Future confused with the band that Lumpy opened for (Future Islands), and before I sort it out in my head I feel really sad for him for opening for a band nobody likes.

I saw Why? in 10 as well on the Yeti and it was fucking awesome! I was supposed to go to them in Billings last fall but they had to cancel because Yoni broke his had...I almost cried if they were here I would probably explode...for real

Our group loooved the Yeasayer set! Walking away from bizarro Pink Floyd to see it was one of the best decisions of our Sasquatch. We caught a handful of Modest after Yeasayer was finished, then moved back to Ratatat who I enjoyed, but not thoroughly. We left before the set was finished to try and get ahead of the exodus.

I saw yeasayer two April's ago at the commodore here in vancouver. It was right after odd blood came out and it was a crazy energetic show that impressed the hell out of me, sleigh Bells opened too. Then at squatch last year it was like thy wanted to bore people, I ended up walking away with heems from Das racist to burn one...

Wait, people actually saw Yeasayer isntead of The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse? I left the Flaming Lips because it sucked if that counts? And then went to the ridiculous party that was MSTRKRFT instead of Modest Mouse. No regrets.

In all fairness the Flaming Lips' performance last year was sub-par, but their regular show is not to be missed. I'd see them over nearly any band in the world.
