Very possible although I think they've already headlined 2 coachellas. I would be very happy if that were the case even without John up there.

Yup, I think thats pretty much a given at this point.
I think they are going to get one of the mythical Daft Punk/Radiohead/Bowie/Rolling Stones group that everyone wants every year, and then Coldplay and the Chili's round out the headliners.
Guessing Justice, Phoenix, YYY's or Beck as second liners, all depending on whether they get albums out in the next year or so.

So do we think Daft Punk would be billed as a top headliner, or as a sub-headliner and play a late night main stage set like Tiesto and the Chems did the past two years? Obviously with the massive disappointment of them not showing up for 2011 there will be great measures pulled to lure them for 2012.

preppies love unconscious ravers? I hear that's true at the RVs of certain board members.

Yeah, I suppose billing an electro headliner would indeed cover both grounds. I still like the idea of a mainstage EDM set following the top billed rock act. Kind of like what Sasquatch does with the Bigfoot now.

Is anyone who bought their tickets local or driving (from home)? I'm just thinking about the canopy/chairs situation, since I'm guessing most of us are flying. I drove this year, so I was able to bring chairs and shade, but I'm pretty sure I'm flying next year.
Another thing to keep in mind if we all show up together at the campground, the more vehicles the better, so we have more space. I would guess it is impossible to fit a car and four tents in one camping space, so if everyone piled into a couple cars, there probably won't be enough room for us to camp. Of course if their is no other way financially, we'll figure out something. People might need to sleep in cars.
