I think he's sitting pitchers that he knows aren't starting that day. I feel woefully underprepared.

Thanks for the update, Drew! I'm subscribed to the daily e-mails with the standings and am I'm proud to see that despite my lack of familiarity with stats and athletes, I've been floating around 7th and 8th place.

I was literally going to poop this thread last night when I realized Drew was in first. It was like, "wait a second, where did he come from, I thought he was near the bottom." I've only been focusing on the top three spots for the past month.
Looks like Gibbons needs to photoshop his way out of last place.

I've only been focusing on the top three spots for the past month. Looks like Gibbons needs to photoshop his way out of last place. Yeah, I was hovering around the 4-7 slot for a while, but I grabbed three or four SBs yesterday and had a good day hitting, and I might have had a save and a win or something, and I just launched up the board. I don't expect it to last long because my pitching still isn't very good, because Jimenez sucks balls. And hell yeah Cat! If you beat Gibbons, you win in my book. But it's a long season...

Oh yeah, there is a major clump of you guys all within a couple SBs of each other. If you don't get a steal for another couple days, you could potentially lose 5.5 points. That's the fun thing about rotisserie.
I like where I'm at right now. It's pretty clear that I am going to remain near the top of all five pitching categories (barring major injuries), probably throughout the year. If I can just maintain an average offense, I have a decent chance of winning. So far, my offense has been very below average.

Ha, I just checked, and we're all in first place (Drew, Know, Womp), each tied with 66 points. That's more fair, right?

I havent checked my team in weeks. I was looking at that shit 3 times a day when we first started. All of my players are probably injured or have recently been arrested for strangling hookers or something.

Looks like I'm taking a commanding lead. I'm not going to pull a Switch, and say, "I'm going to remain in first all year long," then drop out of the top five. Then again, there is no way I drop out of the top five. Long season, sure, but you guys will be lucky to catch me.
Putting the shit talking aside, any cool stories about how much it sucks to play fantasy baseball? I had one yesterday, I benched Mitch Moreland for the first time this year, he being my weakest link all season, then sat speechless watching him hit a grand slam against my A's.
Then the game was called due to rain, before it became official, and his grand slam was erased. That kind of luck never happens. You should be scared.

Here's a cool story - the first pitcher I drafted was Ubaldo fucking Jimenez. I thought I had at least half a season with a good starter. Now I'm left with a shell. Fuck.

Not only do the A's wipe away a 7-0 deficit, but my pitcher Gio got to erase his ugly 2.2 IP, 7 ER performance.
