You would be a bit tougher since you haven't established your taste in music, since you are a self-proclaimed noob to music. You've also only been here three months. I know you like Tokyo Police Club a lot. I can give you a top ten of who you should see, but I'm running out the door now. Come on now.. I think I've made quite a bit of progress in those 3 months...

Just a pro tip for any of you ladies. Don't be within 25 feet of me when DFA plays Black History Month or you will find yourself pregnified.
You have been warned.

Black History Month itself is responsible for thousands of pregnifications. This post brought to you by Fireball

Ya but I haven't really mentioned Skrillex much on this forum and Know thinks my life revolves around deadmau5 and sounders. Which is half true. Only half true because the other half revolves around beer and airplanes.

Seriously though, Geno, for a youngster, you seem to have a good grasp of "I need to see this band because I might not get another chance." Case in point, System Of A Down, Rammstein, Rush, and the Monkees. Deerhunter and the Antlers will be around, and you won't have to pay a lot to see them. You'll probably never get a chance to see Guided By Voices or Archers of Loaf again. Plus I think Archers of Loaf are right up your alley.

Modest Mouse (I'm confident in thinking they'll pull out a buncha oldies) 4. Reggie Watts (I'm sure you're sick of hearing me talk about him) 5. Major Lazer (one of the craziest shows I've ever been to, they do Ladder Daggering at that shit) 6. Deerhunter 7. Wolf Parade 8. Archers of Loaf 9. Givers 10. Pink Martini (I think all the hate for them on this board spurred me to check 'em out, and this video of "Hey Eugene" on Letterman is pretty good. I dig the orchestra, and I can only imagine what a set of theirs at Sasquatch would be like, so a lot of this is curiosity.)

I actually intended to quote his top ten from that post, but at the last minute I thought I would have a little fun with it, thinking only Lumps would get it.

Ah blast, I thought you'd maybe not remember that (though if anybody would remember it, it'd be you) and purely guess.
It actually took me a second though, if you put it out of order, I probably would've believe it.
