Lollapalooza has 2 headliners a night and they really like being the first festival to promote bands to headliner status. I'd be shocked if that report wasn't true.

Kings of Leon are still headliner status?

Yikes...there must be someone else.
How the hell did Osheaga and Drakes little festival get Outkast and Lolla didn't?

Back to Bottle Rocket. That's even more ridiculous than last year. This is the weirdest music festival. The best part is it costs like $600. It's made exclusively for 40-something rich people with no taste living in wine country...plus Deerhunter and Thee Oh Sees. Last year it was all that....plus Iron and Wine and Sharon Van Etten. So how'd you like it? A+

Gotta step up my research now that Sasquatch 2 is cancelled. Friend and I are looking for another festival to attend. Suggestions?

I wonder if the delay in releasing Pemberton's lineup is due to the fact that some cancelled JulySquatch bands are on it and it might have raised questions?

Well, I plug it all the time, but if you're in to electronic music then I highly recommend What The Festival in central Oregon. The lineup isn't released yet this year but it's been great the two years the festival has happened.

I've been waiting for that WTF lineup to drop, and now with Julysquatch out of the picture the chances of me going are better. I want to make it to Portland to visit some family this summer anyway. I'm also reconsidering Paradiso, which would put me close to Seattle for Kraftwerk. Even though Paradiso day 2 headliners are a joke, I feel confident there will be something decent on the other stages like last year. A 2 hour set from Bassnectar on the Main Stage at the Gorge will probably be pretty fucking epic.

I'm pretty sure Paradiso ticket sales already exceeded that of Julysquatch in less than an hour. What the fuck is wrong with people these days?

Won't be going though because it's the same weekend as Sled Island. Thanks for the suggestion though! Friend and I are looking to blow some money on flights and go big. We're thinking maybe Bonnaroo because of Kanye and the stacked undercard or Lollapalooza if the lineup isn't actually as bad as it's shaping up to be.

They really seemed to cheese out on the headliners this year, but if it is like last year they'll manage to mix in a little something for everybody. Given you like electronic music of coarse. The overall vibe seemed pretty cool too.

Outside Lands is rumored to be getting Bruce Springstreen and the E Street Band and Kanye this year. Rumors, but still.

OSL is always stacked at the top and then doesn't have shit for an undercard. Which sort of makes sense for a festival in a city that gets toured ad nauseum. Last year I only saw Paul McCartney and the National one day, and only like three bands and NIN another day.
