DE ROSARIO TO NEW YORK? If this isn't a fucking April fools joke then I'm almost done with the MLS.

Absolutely unreal finish to the game today. Caps were down 3-1 after 90 minutes and score twice in penalty time to come out with a draw.
Just wow. I'm a new convert but am really starting to love this game.

I'm a new convert but am really starting to love this game. I was there. It was epic. Generally I hate ties, but this is easily the best draw I've ever experienced. Things didn't look good going into stoppage down 3-1, but what a finish it was. I can't remember the last time I saw 1 goal in stoppage let alone 2.

Sounders gave up 2 potential wins last year with stoppage goals allowed. It's amazing when it's your team scoring them, but fucking heartbreaking when you're on the receiving end.
I'm really impressed with the Caps so far. Sounds like you guys are in for an exciting season!

I could very well be wrong, but to my knowledge this is the only stoppage goal I ever remember the Sounders scoring. This also happens to be one of my favorite moments in Sounders MLS history.

Hahahaha sure looks like it, but nope. I just love the goalie on the ground with Fucito in full celebration mode.
I even have that same sweatshirt. Scary.

What I'd like to know, is WHY, during the one of the most exciting and loudest moments of the season, Mr. Arms Crossed is facing away from the field seemingly oblivious to what is happening behind him.

I really really really like what I've seen from Rosales already, and Friberg is the new love of my life. Much better signings than Nkufo and Fernandez, imo. I've only watched the first half of the San Jose game so far this season, but Friberg and Rosales were impressive. Part of our problem against LA in the playoffs was our inability to create out of the midfield. I'm interested to see how this new look midfield will gel with Montero/Zackuani. Montero was out against San Jose, how has he looked so far this season/with these new players?

He's looked good enough. Much like seemingly every other player up front, he's had lots of scoring opportunities and has put some good shots on goal, but just hasn't been able to successfully finish yet. I think within a month's time (at most) we will start to see some nice gelling among the players. It's really quite a different club from last year so it will take a little time to find the good pairings and start making things work really well. I'm not worried yet!
