I'm listening to Spoon because I miss this show. I saw them open for AF last August and quite frankly, I was more excited to see Britt perform than anyone else. Don't you love it when you're more excited for the opening band than the headliner?!

That's actually happened to me quite a few times.
Also, Cat, have you listened to the Telephono and the Soft Effects EP (I listened to them both at the same time because Merge re-released them as a package deal.) It's a bit of a different sound for them (I especially like it because it sounds very Pixies-ish.)
I wasn't even aware these existed until they played "Mountain to Sound" from the Soft Effects EP with Bradford Cox at Pitchfork in '08 (I read an interview that told me the only real reason they played it was because Bradford wanted to play it.) It immediately became my new favorite song of theirs. Highly recommended if you haven't heard it already.

First listen today! I really like it. The few lines from 'Skins' a the beginning of Etched Headplate messed me up a bit though. haha.

It sure is! The UK version of course. I could never tell you what episode or season though. I watched it all too fast.

Jar of Flies is soo good. In my opinion it's one of the best EP's ever and the best thing that Alice in Chains released.
