Gosh I love CBC, especially Q. I live jian's interviews, he can make the most boring sounding person the most interesting interview subject, which is an amazing talent.
My dad always had CBC on nonstop in the background so listening to it just takes me home in a way that not much else can.

Remember that time Billy Bob Thornton flipped the fuck out on him? Hilarious. Good times. It was funny because no one gave a fuck about the shitty band he is fronting unless they knew Billy Bob the actor was a part of it. So really how could Jian of kept the conversation going without talking about why they are getting shows anyway. I still think Billy Bob was legit not actually mad, and was just trying to get some hype going. |

I think Billy Bob was legit actually drunk off his ass. Haha, there is that possibility. I thought it all played out funny though, as he dissed Canada in the interview, saying the people are boring, like mashed potatoes without the gravy or something. He ended up getting booed off stage and then canceled the remainder of his tour. Don't mess with the Jian I guess. |

Nine Types of Light took me a while to get into but o really liked it the last time inlistened to it. But they could have done such amazing things with the sound they started building on cookie mountain. |
