The Drums - Portamento If all Drums songs had a moving melody like "We Tried" from the first album and the sonic quirks and experiments of this album, they'd be unstoppable. This album is really good, and not at all homogenous like the first album, but it lacks melodic punch. Melodic punch. If I hated their first album should I listen to this?

Hahaha.
To be fair, there was a misunderstanding about where he was coming from with the Seattle reference.

Not sure what to make of this collaboration. The sound quality definitely doesn't do it any justice.

Soundtrack to a Saturday Night Adventure:
Paul Simon - The Rhythm of the Saints OST - Amelie Steely Dan - Katy Lied Animal Collective - Feels
Callin' this one as the last weekend of the summer of 2011. The moon was a vicious orange and it finally cooled down to the point where we could walk around comfortably. I have an exceedingly beautiful wife and we have summarily seized this saturday night by its short n' curlies.
