So I'm pretty late on this, but Ween released a demo album last month that is full of unreleased tracks from when they were recording Quebec. So yeah it's pretty awesome.

I copied this from my Facebook because I can't word the sentiments any better but I still feel like bragging over here. Sorry for the repeat if it is one.

Four most excellent TMBG songs that you chumps won't never hear unless you come to my house. NEENER! I'm coming over! I never really noticed before, but "Don't Even Trip" on Peeping Tom has some serious dub step womps going on in it. This is from 2006.

Man you and Stormy love that Peeping Tom record a whole lot more than I do. I like it okay but every sometimes it starts to sound like Korn to me. I haven't heard it in a while, I need to go back to it.
These exclusive TMBG tracks are soooo good. Definitely not throwaways. They even go back to their habit of writing mopey little songs about marginalized historical figures with a tune about Nikolai Tesla.

"but precious few have mourned the passing of mister James K Polk, our eleventh president, Young Hickory, our Napoleon of the stump."
Damn you need to stop talking about that or I am coming over for realz!

Dude have you ever looked at the paintings of James Ensor? I bet they'd really strike a chord. They seem so harmless but the longer you look at them the stranger they get.

Man you and Stormy love that Peeping Tom record a whole lot more than I do. I like it okay but every sometimes it starts to sound like Korn to me. I haven't heard it in a while, I need to go back to it. Ha! It is a little Korny on the surface but the production(especially in headphones) is fucking awesome. The fact that this is sort of a rap-metal-Spawn-soundtrack kinda thing that came out in 2006 is kinda absurd in a fun way too (I know it was a "pop" project of his he was working on for 6 years). It always felt like a fun joke to me that one day seemed to all of sudden have some major substance to it. Maybe I've let it all sneak under my radar, but the fact that it is Patton's attempt to make a version of radio music (which seemed so dated only 3 years ago, but now shares qualities with tons of the Skrillexy shit being played to death is kinda weird. And probably not a selling point when I put it that way) gives a different bent to his vocals and lyrics, it's like hearing an alien trying to be human, even though the alien knows he is better than the humans, you can tell he'd be happy to be mistaken for one just for a second to not always feel like an alien all the time. Ya know?

Dig him up and shake his hand/Understand the man. Fuck off !!!!!! My avatar on Videogum is one of his paintings! I was actually looking for a Kubin pic but stumbled onto some of his stuff. Still haven't investigated a whole lot into him but that is WEIRD.

Man that was perfectly stated. For years before that record came out all you heard about it was basically MIKE PATTON IS COLLABORATING WITH NORAH JONES WHUT?? But I think my problem has been that I haven't been letting it sneak under my radar enough.
What you just said was EXACTLY my first reaction to that record; the trouble is that I downloaded it from the Zune Marketplace just after I got back from Squatch '08, and then due to proprietary bullshit when I switched to my iPod I lost access to the material so I don't even have it anymore and haven't heard it in probably twenty months or more.
Basically you said the very thing that I think except you gave it a more charitable spin. Just reinforces the obvious fact that I just need to go back and listen to it again.
