Huge upgrade in lineup from last year. Here's hoping the expansion to a third day doesn't lead to another brutal hike in ticket prices... Now this is more like it. Too bad it is the same weekend as Primus and Ween at Red Rocks, which I still have no idea how I am going to attend but I wonāt let the dream die.

Anyone else going to Stevie Nicks at the Gorge? I ended up giving my floor ticket to my mom and just grabbing a GA for myself. So Iām gonna be chilling on the hill by myself while Mrs Pancakes and Mama Pancakes are sitting in the sweet spot in front and slightly left off the sound booth.

Iām going, going back, back to the Gorge. I will attempt to perform the ceremony and set right that which has gone horribly wrong since we stopped gathering there every year. No promises, but I will do what I can.
May 14 - Stevie Fucking Nicks @ The Fucking Gorge June 8 - Jack White @ the Global Warning Colosseum (or whatever the fuck itās called) July 1 - Mafuckin Ween @ Marymoor Park July 2 - Todavia Mas Ween @ Edgefield August 10 - Primus & Ween @ Red Rocks (I honestly have no idea if/how this will happen, but I am trying to manifest it) Sept 30 - Iron Maiden @ Spokane Arena
Shows are back, baby.

I think this is the biggest piece right here. Mack got all the glory, but Ryan was by far the more talented one. His production is the real reason The Heist blew up like it did. 100% agreed. My friend and I have discussed this before and how itās a shame he didnāt produce for others more during that come up phase. Heās done songs with Kesha and a few others I canāt remember, but it feels like itās too late. To a lesser degree Billie Eilishās brother really deserves more recognition for creating this huge musical platform for his 14 year old sister as well Yup. I fully expected him to blow up around 2013-14 and working with everyone in hip hop. But, for whatever reason, he chose to stay tethered to Mack then just retreated to Spokane when they broke up.

Hell yeah dogg. Glad we are not leavinā you hanginā. I might have to stay behind for some Pattyās goodness. That shit is amazing. I live right around the corner. [name redacted] must be my [neighbor redacted]. Best breakfast in Seattle. I think we have previously determined that you guys are semi-neighbors. They live on 115th, between Roosevelt & Pinehurst, so like 2 blocks from Pattyās.

The National just announced a tour that ends the first of August. They are playing Montana and Idaho, but not Washington or Oregon. They might be a little too big for this Thing, but they are a Snacks fave and I could see him trying to get them as a headliner. I think theyāre too big and skipping Washington and Oregon because they played Marymoor and Edgefield last summer. But, considering I recognized people I saw at their Edgefield show one week after Thing last year from Thing, they would definitely be popular! But I think past Sasquatch headliners are probably too big. Thatās kinda what I was thinking too. But, if the Thing did well enough last year that they are expanding to 3 days, maybe theyāve got a little extra cash to poop up the artist budget too. But I do agree that The National (or any former Sasquatch headliner not named Macklemore) would be a long shot, I just really miss rampantly speculating.

Aaaaand Ozzy just cancelled the tour, so it looks like Double Ween for sure. Really canāt say Iām too disappointed and Iām certainly not surprised. Ozzy needed to hang it up years ago. I came here hoping to read this. Specifically, the double Ween part, not the Ozzy needs treatment part. The current plan is to take it easy at Marymoor and get on the road after the show, so we can split up the driving and make it to Bend in time for dooks to be fully kooked. I think we will end up staying in Seattle Friday night. We would be in trouble if we didnāt visit with [name redacted] while we are there. Iām thinking weāll do Marymoor, then head over to Northgate, spend the night with [name redacted], get up early, hit Pattyās Eggnest, then head south and kook whatever dooks we can before the Saturday show.

Hahaha I know this, Iām just horsinā around. Excited to see you, my dude. Both Ween shows was the correct choice. As of right now, we are still just 100% committed to Bend, but I got tickets to both just in case. Mrs Pancakes still feels like both might be too much of a commitment, especially considering that we are supposed to go to Ozzy in Tacoma the following weekend, but I have 5 months to convince her that both is the only right choice. Besides, I have serious doubts about whether Ozzy will even make it to that show. Aaaaand Ozzy just cancelled the tour, so it looks like Double Ween for sure. Really canāt say Iām too disappointed and Iām certainly not surprised. Ozzy needed to hang it up years ago.
