Anyone have any guesses for comedy this year? I really have no clue. David Cross. Local tour dates mean little when it comes to comedy. That's honestly the one person I was maybe thinking would be there. Seems like a good fit.

We can have a Grimes listening session during our internet lineup announcement party. Followed by the entire LCD Soundsystem discography once they are announced. Followed by a simultaneous viewing of Shut up and Play the Hits That's like the only Blu-Ray worth owning

Also if we're talking Grimes, I've always loved this collaboration she did with Blood Diamonds.

No real evidence behind this other than looking at tour dates and my instincts, but I took a shot at guessing the Firefly and Bottlerock crossovers:
Bottle Rock: Florence + The Machine Death Cab For Cutie Atlas Genius Walk The Moon The Pharcyde The Orwells SOAK
Firefly: Florence + The Machine Death Cab For Cutie M83 A$AP Rocky Chvrches Vince Staples Atlas Genius Robert DeLong Tchami Guster Kaleo Arkells RÜFÜS DU SOL

I feel you. $600 is pretty insane. It is indeed. I'm trying to justify it to the wife. I think this would be a nice way to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, which is on May 20 and I'm asking to make this my 40th birthday bash at the same time. Well I hope the lineup is great because that would be a pretty fantastic way to celebrate your anniversary and birthday!

Fuck me. I just looked at the current currency exchange and it's going to cost us Canadian's almost $600.00 per ticket!!! I'm getting worried. This lineup better be stellar or I don't think I'll be going. I feel you. $600 is pretty insane.

Brand New released another Vancouver date today (June 1st, a day before the other). This news makes Brand New seem likely to me, even though they haven't played Sasquatch before. Should I add them to the rumored list? What does others think? I think their tour dates are enough to justify them being rumoured.

Kind of weird that Ryan Lewis didn't want to get in on that action, but he seems to be doing pretty well under his new alias Please Specify. The album Not Applicable by Please Specify is great! Especially the opening track, "Prefer Not to Say" EDIT: this sounds like an emo revival album.

god halp us To be fair, I hear that Other puts on a pretty spectacular live show. Yeah, Other have been phenomenal since Macklemore, Ben Harper, and all of Imagine Dragons joined their band's lineup.

I just saw that they are playing the Sweetwater Festival this April in Atlanta, so this is not entirely unreasonable. Kid Rock, AWOLNATION, Bastille and Ben Harper are listed as other headliners. PLEASE KEEP ALL OF THOSE AWAY FROM THE SASQUATCH LINEUP! Kid Rock, Squatch '16 BAWITDABA

I really hope that we get Hudson Mohawke. I saw his live show when I was in Europe and it was fantastic. It would be great as a late night set or as a dance tent closing set.

I thought maybe RJD2 could be a possibility but it looks like he's playing in Philly and DC on May 28/29 so he's probably out.

I'd put forward Pusha T as a possible main stage hip hop artist but he has a Seattle show in March.

The last three years have all had one hip hop headliner. We've speculated several possible hip hop acts but, other than Macklemore, none that would qualify as headliners. Any other ideas? I think Lupe Fiasco would make for at least a sub and could even headline a night at a lower cost than say a Kanye, thus freeing up money in the budget to pay for The Cure and LCD Soundsystem. Spoiler alert: It's going to be Macklemore again Future? He might be too pricey now though. I hope we get Vince Staples, he wouldn't headline though. While I would appreciate seeing Future, I just don't think he's the kind of act Sasquatch would book.
