Paul McCarthy? No thanks, I saw his son on the yeti a couple of years ago. Jeffrey your father is very disappointed in you If your father hasn't already disowned you, he would also be disappointed.

I love watching the lurkers come out of the woodwork on announcement night. I love watching word vomit over-posters pretending to be regulars.

Unfortunately, you're wrong here: Also: Why did people rule-out Sleater-Kinney? They are PNW natives with a new album and the last of their tour ends in early may in Seattle with Memorial Day weekend free. I have a good feeling they will be booked -- they are such a Sasquatch band. You are right they are a "Sasquatch band," and I wish they would be at Sasquatch, but three Seattle headlining dates May rules them out for Sasquatch. Don't automatically rule out bands because of Seattle shows matt. There are exceptions.

It's unreleased stuff that ranges his whole career (he seems to be up to SAWII at this point). "28 organ" is a stunner. "26 5 [demo]" is an alternate version of "4" from RDJA. Then there's two versions of "Red Calx" which made the internet collectively shit itself. "Fork Rave" and "6 Plinky Plonk[orig]" sounds like SAW8592 on speed. What bizarre language is this? Can we make using aphextwinspeak a bannable offense?

In the entire history of Sasquatch, there has been only one four-letter main stage act in each of the last three years. There was Haim last year, Cake the year before, and Beck the year before that. It only makes sense that GWAR will be main stage this year. Zacks must really like the color black, because last year's lineup had Black Joe Lewis, the year before had Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, 2012 had Black Whales, and 2011 had Black Mountain. This year I'm gonna get my Fergie on, cause Black Eyed Peas are looking more likely. Speaking of Black, there have only been four black headliners in the history of the festival, OutKast, Ben Harper twice, and Macklemore. Therefore, I would bet an entire chicken strips basket overflowing with mustard that 2Pac won't be a headliner. Maybe a sub.

For some reason, I still don't think it's going to happen, but let the Death Cab for Cutie speculation pick up even more: 4/10 – Mesa, AZ @ Quail Run Park 4/23 – Kansas City, MO @ Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland 4/27 – Atlanta, GA @ Fox Theatre 4/29 – Nashville, TN @ Ryman Auditorium 4/30 – Chicago, IL @ Chicago Theatre 5/02 – Minneapolis, MN @ Northrop Auditorium 5/04 – Milwaukee, WI @ Riverside Theater 5/07 – Toronto, ON @ Sony Centre for the Performing Arts 5/08 – Montreal, QC @ Metropolis Theatre 5/09 – Portland, ME @ State Theatre 5/12 – Louisville, KY @ Iroquois Amphitheater 5/13 – St. Louis, MO @ The Pageant 6/08 – London, UK @ O2 Shepherds Bush Empire 6/09 – London, UK @ O2 Shepherds Bush Empire 6/13 – Oslo, NO @ Rockefeller 6/14 – Bergen, NO @ Bergenfest 6/15 – Stockholm, SE @ Munchenbryggeriet 6/23 – Zagreb, CH @ inMusic Festival 6/27 – Dusseldorf, DE @ Open Source Festival 7/12 – Hollywood, CA @ Hollywood Bowl 10/03 – Seattle, WA @ Paramount Theatre Not that there are exact rules about this or anything but it'd be really lame to announce that October date if they are playing Sasquatch. Usually you wait until after the festival (or at least after it sells out) to announce a later show. I'd lean more towards it ruling them out than suggesting they're playing. I'd lean more to suggesting they're playing.

Anyway we could get the crossover numbers for CounterPoint and the Buku Project? At least we know all the hippies will be in Georgia Memorial Day Weekend. My sinuses are thankful. And don't try to counter point that planes exist. Hippies aren't allowed on planes.

You need to use your magical Snacks powers to make this happen for real. Now picturing Pea waving a magical glow stick over his animal hat and pulling out chocolate covered pretzels, skittles, and pop chips.

WONK: I will be in Portland for my cousins wedding in May. I am hoping to drop off my beer for you when in town. I will have a good one for sure. Do you have any styles you dislike (I don't want to get one those for you). My taste buds finally caught up to my age, so I'm trying every beer I can get my hands on lately. My local booze shop has 500 beers, and my goal is to try them all. I'm a handlebar mustache and stupid hat away from a Samuel Adams commercial. I'm a hop-head, so IPAs are my go to, and stouts are my second favorite. I don't care for Reds much. And yes, I'll be around in May, so I'm looking forward to your selection. To be honest I've never seen Wonk drink anything but whiskey, PBR, and I think malt liquor but don't quote me on that. HG/Stormy would likely be your best bet for poking him for some suggestions. Pretty close. Until recently, I was IPA, PBR, and Whiskey only. I had a malt liquor habit from college that carried over through adulthood due to me being ghetto. I haven't touched the stuff in over a year (involuntarily twitching).

Come here only with facts, or reasonable guess-timates. Fact: The circumference of a circle is found by multiplying the diameter by pi. Reasonable Guess-timate: This post gets moved by the end of the day.

TV on the Radio plays a show in Seattle on their tour. Likely out. A Xmas show in Seattle does not eliminate an act from Sasquatch. Someone smarter than Jeff please chime in.
