Since I got through before noon that means Daft Punk is going to be there. I keep forgetting you're an hour ahead and was wondering why you were giving such a wide window of time as a sign.

I've got the same message Drew, but I think I'm gonna stick it out for awhile yet.

I don't really think there are "spots".

this is crazy...my buddy is up to 7 passes and 3 camping passes just on the one computer. This is a cluster fuck. That's just like how I was able to get 3 separate passes, one right after the other, in the general sale this year. I really don't think there's any sort of system to this. I just hope I can get through soon since I took a melatonin just before 10 thinking I'd go to bed and try this evening. Then I looked at the board and saw the messages about weekend one being close to sold out already. Fuck this. I hope it's just a scare tactic they're using to try to get people to buy weekend two instead.

Really though, why are they still using that picture? Can't they get any more current pictures of people smoking pot? Even the caption says its from 2010.

I've met her. She's at least 14.
That's the legal age in BC still, right?

Well, technically she is a robot clone that has the sole purpose of creating chaos. So non-human and creepy is good. Y'all should watch Metropolis sometime (but not the Eurythemics soundtracked, colorized version from the 80s. That's just terrible).

It amuses me how many of you seem to be creeped out by it. I totally don't get it.

We're thinking about it! I was basing my plans on when the presale started last year (early June) and so had budgeted for at least the first payment but now I'm kinda screwed. I think we'll be deciding later on. I wouldn't add any names to any lists. Weenie, you should check the billing cycle of your credit card. I know for the card I want to use, even though I'm buying it today (or this week), the actual bill won't be due til June 23rd since I just started my next billing cycle. So if you budgeted for June 1st, maybe you can still plan for that?

If you're buying tickets today, make sure you have an account set up with Front Gate Tickets before hand. It will save some time. Good luck everyone, be patient, we got this. MAH FUCKER WE ROLLIN Last year, I waited two days before buying in the presale and consequently didn't have to deal with any of that horrible waiting room stuff people were talking about. I just logged in, bought tickets and was on my way. Does anyone here think the presale for weekend 1 might sell out this year or that it's necessary to be buying 'em today?

I only listened to Alabama Shakes for the first time a couple weeks ago as part of my Sasquatch research and I can't wait for their set now. Originally I was going to check out Civil Wars but I've come to really love Alabama Shakes, listening to them every other day.
I agree, they sound nothing like The White Stripes. I can get behind a small comparison to The Black Keys 'cause of the rock-blues thing. I get more of a Janis Joplin vibe from them though. I'm hoping their set turns out to be the Black Mountain set of this year.

Alcoholic gummies? Purchased with alcohol in 'em or did you soak gummy bears in vodka? I tried that a while ago and they came out so plump and boozy. It was fun! I can't drink [most] vodka so I soaked gummy bears, berries and worms in gin, and I did gummy colas in Captain Morgan's. The coke and rum were the best for sure and then I think the berries. I'll be bringing big tubs of them down.

I also have a wheat allergy and am probably celiac (can't get an official diagnosis now that ive been gluten-free for too long). Basically you have no options as far as food vendors go. Bring your own food and you're guaranteed to have an enjoyable weekend, digestion-wise at least. I know there's a thread somewhere where we already discussed this for a few pages; I think it's called "celiac at Sasquatch?"
I did buy a product before going to Coachella called "gluten relief" by Natural Factors. It's essentially a digestive enzyme that's specifically meant to help with gluten. I thought it would be good in case I accidentally got glutened or was weak and had to try some of the amazing food. It definitely helped with all digestive issues and kept me out of the honey buckets, but I also get severe itchiness and it did nothing for that symptom.
If you have any questions regarding celiac and wheat allergy, feel free to PM me. I've got some great links you can check out too.

The whole working graveyard and regular yard shifts thing blows my mind. I don't know how ya do it. I have to keep my sleep consistent or I turn into a crazy. Melatonin, my friend. Actually, I'm a night owl anyway and would never go to sleep before 3 or 4 normally. So graveyards and PM shifts (3pm to midnight) work great for me. It's those pesky AM shifts that do me in. It doesn't matter how many days in a row I have 'em, I'm completely useless til 11am and then a zombie when I get off work.

Last night was even sweeter 'cause I brought in the alcoholic gummies I'm bringing to Sasquatch for me and my manager to "taste test"... so no execs, loud music, and alcohol candy!

I work at Fairmont Hotels. Normally I only do one graveyard a week but due to some scheduling needs on my part I switched with the regular overnight girl for this week. Graveyard's actually my favourite shift 'cause there's no one in the office, it's the busiest shift and I get to crank my music up and do my thing.

I fucking love Frizzle Fry so much. So mean and weird. It's definitely my favourite. "Too Many Puppies" just gets me so jazzed and bopping around, it's great to throw on towards the end of my graveyards and get my energy back up for the last bit of the shift.
