In no particular order (except the first one):
1. Hot Chip 2. Pucifer 3. Bassnectar 4. Wu Tang 5. SMD 6. Dog Blood 7. Blur 8. The Postal Service 9. Portugal. The Man 10. Pretty Lights
I'm fully expecting The Postal Service to be underwhelming, but I'd be lying if they weren't in my top 10. Reignwolf would have made the list if I wasn't 100% sure he'll be playing too early and I'll miss his set.

They usually don't release the schedule until a couple days before the festival. Ahh, okay. I've only been once before and didn't remember correctly. I'll work on my patience. oh shit, it's wolfhat! Too bad you won't be able to join us this year. As for the schedule, it'll probably be out next Tuesday. Too bad :-( If any weekend 2 goers see a wolfhat walking around, come say hi! I promise to be 33% less messed up than the last time I saw boardies, and have 100% more banana bread. Oh wait, no outside food.

Not to derail this conversation, but I just popped in to say: wolfhat is going to Coachella! Weekend 2 though, and by the looks of the first page you're all going to weekend 1. I hope to read some great reviews of what's in store for me!
I'm getting a little tired of the "wristbands are on their way" pic on the Coachella main page. 9 days until the fest and still no schedule? Unless they were included with the wristband packages (I haven't seen mine yet) this is getting a little ridiculous. I want to be irritated by all the inevitable scheduling conflicts now!

That's our plan for Monday, too. Minus the flying home part, and plus being next to a pool.

Thanks for the support re: illegal wolfhats. I'm definitely wearing it to the gate and I hope to make it further.
DAMN THE MAN, NOT THE WOLFMAN!

Just saw this on the Coachella site FAQs: NO Stuffed Animals
What kind of anti-wolfhat discrimination bull shit is that?!? Anyone have any insight/experience with how strictly this rule is enforced? I know all you Coachella vets bring stuffed animals in all the time.

In response to all the 1st round match-up talk: yeah, LA wasn't my first choice either. Their team is one of the few that has goal tending that gives our a run for its money in the entire league. That is going to be the difference. And as Rusty already said, this year we will (hopefully) be much quicker to put in Schneids when Lou falters. And as FD said, LA does have players with heart, but in my opinion we have dominant skaters and a much deeper team. It's going to be a goalie dual. Canucks in 6.

So we grabbed the tickets after getting a 5% off email when I didn't complete the order the first time I visited the site. Section 107 row 17 I think. We'll have to exchange a high five or 9 at the game! Holy shit, this is happening. Row 17 right there with ya! Probably won't be wearing the wolfhat to this one, but you better believe I'll be sporting a jersey! Let me know when you get your seat numbers. We're 10-12. Nice work with the 5% off, too.

At least if you come to LA you know going in that you're going to be down money when you leave ;-)
If you decide to come, I think the guy I bought them from (on TicketsNow) has more available. Lower bowl on the Canucks offensive end for $112 + $20 in fees. Think about it!

Getting pumped for Radiohead in Seattle tonight. Dreading the evening traffic heading into the city though. Have a fucking blast, man. I wanna hear all about it so I can get even more excited to see them this weekend. I would be going to that show too if I wasn't convinced they would add a Vancouver date, only to figure out it wasn't happening too late.

I really can't decide how I feel about Sleigh Bells. When I listen to them I often find myself wanting to turn the volume down, which is not a good sign. I think I like them in small doses and was hoping that seeing them live would push me over one side of the fence, but now the saga continues.
What the hell did you Portland kids do to them?!?

Just found out the Vancouver Sleigh Bells show tonight is "cancelled due to illness." Oh well. I'll get my concert fix this weekend.

Happy Holidays! I'm getting wasted. Hey, Shax, how was that Phillips beer? I've never seen it, and try and make a point of trying anything new I see from them.

Back-to-back Presidents Trophies, wuhoo! I just hope we can take advantage of the home ice this year.
I just bought tickets to Game 4 in LA! So pumped! Never been to an NHL playoff game.

Just downloaded the Coachella app in hopes it would give me a sneak peek at the schedule, but no dice. The app looks like it'll be pretty useful once it has the set times. C'MON COACHELLA, SPILL THE BEANS!

Minor correction, a two-six is 26oz = 750mL. I've never heard anyone refer to a 1.14L bottle as a two-six, unless they were drunk and mistook the size. This is correct. You beat me to it. This size bottle is also called a "fifth" in the States which refers to a fifth of a gallon, which is roughly what it's equal to. I usually call 1.14L (40z) bottles "forties" This is also [Canadian] correct, and is a liquor bottle size not as commonly found in the States. When Americans talk about forties they're talking about a forty ounce bottle of malt liquor, which is very different. On a related note, it is funny watching Canadians and Americans have a conversation about "drinking forties" and get all slightly confused because they're referring to different things but don't want to mention it. In my experience, I've only ever heard a bottle being called a "handle" by Americans, and when they do they're talking about a bottle that normally literally has a handle built into it, the volume of which being 1.75L, or ~60oz. PS. I'm landing in Palm Springs 1 week from right now!
