I won tickets from 1077, then they called me 5 days later saying their texting system had an error and accidentally told 1500 people they won.

She & Him announced a tour starting in June today for a new record. They're pretty much a lock right?

Not too bad in the early afternoon, but if you want to be in the frontmost 'pit' area I'd recommend at least coming in during the act prior to the one you really want to see. More people exit after each act than you'd expect (although I imagine there won't be an exodus between Tenacious D and Beck, for example). To be front row center is probably an all day commitment though.

Has anyone suggested the late night act to be added could be magnetic man? The 3 of them are touring the US in march and april under their own names (Skream, Benga, and Artwork - even in seattle in early march). They have a crazy light show...not much collaboration with the mau5trap crew other than some shows and being friends though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlhgLsQ1R8w

The crowd was shit during Skrillex, at least inside the tent. The mass of people surrounding the outside was fun enough though. I have a million things to say about him, but at least in between the last time I saw him and Sasquatch he learned how to mix. When I saw him in January he couldn't even beatmatch, and he plays live with ableton, which does that for you.

My favorite part of sasquatch is always just spotting artists cruising around the venue. Conor Oberst watched the Secret Sisters right next to me for a good 15 minutes. We stood right next to the non-mustachioed frontman from Local Natives during Twin Shadow, danced with Twin Shadow during Sharon Jones, and Wayne Coyne came in and watched Reggie Watts with us when I was in the front row. I'm so easily star struck it's disgusting

Yeah...their set ended up just being a huge downer. It peaked at the start as far as energy goes and that all fizzled out by the end. I love the Soft Bulletin, but as a show it wasn't so great. It felt weird seeing all the confetti and shit shoot out at the end of feeling yourself disintegrate lol

1. Modest Mouse 2. Death From Above 1979 3. Tim Minchin 4. Major Lazer 5. Sharon Jones + The Dap Kings
Biggest disappointment: Scott Aukerman + Paul F Tompkins by FAR. Not really funny at all and Scott and Paul were on stage for a grand total of like 8 minutes.

Leaving tonight at 1 AM to show up at like 4 AM, hopefully to avoid the clusterfuck that was driving in last year at peak time

Heard that at a show last week sometime some people were throwing around glowsticks and once they started landing close to the stage he stopped the music and threatened to stop playing...just a word to the wise lol

We woke up last year in the middle of the night with some dude in a motorcycle helmet sitting in our tent.
We weren't intoxicated but he sure was!

So I've been thinking about this since last year but haven't really shared till now... There were a few parties in the campground last year that were poopin pretty loud. I think it would be really easy to throw together a decent PA system for the weekend and bring some gear and have actual DJs playing the campground at night instead of some lame ipod on shuffle. Who knows, maybe a DJ playing the festival could be convinced to swing by as a surprise as well... I'm down to do this (I am a local seattle DJ), but I can't foot the bill alone. If anyone out there has a large enough sound system that they'd be willing to bring hit me up, or if there are any other DJs interested in spinning let me know! Last, and probably most important...you guys don't think the organizers would have a problem with this do you? with how loud everything was last year I don't think they're opposed to the campers partying

Still can't decide between A-trak and Dirty Projectors...my favorite DJ ever and my favorite album of last year. Although I guess this isn't a conflict they would have predicted haha
