That Salem album has some really fucking cool parts on it, but they've already been dubbed the worst live band in history so fuck them.

I really dig that album, but they're supposed to be a nightmare live. Shame, really.

I've read that they are actually fairly decent live it was just that one show at SXSW that was horrible. Put them in the Rumpus Room and let them turn the bass way up it could be pretty great.

They're playing up here at a festival too. www.boonstock.ca it will be bro-tastic. I won't be attending.

You're not going to Boonstock? I think I'll probably go. The lineup is less 'bro-tastic' than it has been before. I'm mostly going for USS, and the Dirty Heads.

I can't stand the USS live show. 1 guy with talent, and 1 guy putting on stupid masks and jumping around like an idiot while "mixing" the backing track. Not for me, thanks.
I'd actually go if I got free tickets, and I'd check out Trooper, CCRevisited, APC, and Sublime out of curiosity.

Wow.. I didn't think it was possible to not like USS live. They're crazy. To each their own I suppose!

When I went they made a drink called the Fruit Hole. I thought it was awesome. Are you going to any shows before Squatch? I'll probably be there.

1 that I have a ticket for (RAA), and one that I should probably get a ticket for before it sells out (Pixies).

I have tickets to both! I checked and there are still Pixies tickets, but they added another show in Winnipeg, so even if they do sell out, they may add another one.

A Perfect Circle may be that outta nowhere headliner. I'd be happy with that. Tool would be better though.

A Perfect Circle are sub headliner to Rise Against at Edgefest this year. Just Saying.
I'm also saying A Perfect Circle sucks ass.

Mere de Nomes is good. They destroyed whatever credibility they had with that cover of "Imagine", though. I wasn't into 13th step, either.

You're probably right. However Maynard into Black Keys on Monday might constitute a solid 4th headliner by committee. (in my books anyway)

I told you that would be awesome! ;D I mentioned them in another thread and most didn't think they'd fit the vibe. They would be more likely than Tool since Maynard isn't into whoring them right now. Also, For the record, I loved 13th Step. "The Noose" is arguably the best APC song ever.
