no way in hell could sasquatch afford a lineup like that. my guess is at least 75% of those bands will actually be there though.

I've been trolling the boards here for a while but i had to post this. Number 4 on the 94.7 video sounds an awful lot like... ...just sped up SY don't have any tour dates scheduled so they might be pulling a Wolf Parade. www.sonicyouth.com/main/Hope that helps EDIT: or maybe it's number 5. you'll hear it though.

Good call, I can hear it. SY are probably wook closers or mid day main at this point in their career.
Though I hope Sonic Youth aren't "pulling a Wolf Parade." That would make me sad.

Is "pulling a Wolf Parade" code for "playing at Sasquatch and then going on hiatus"? Is there any reason to believe Sonic Youth are considering that?

Yeah, I agree. Although, I could also see them playing late afternoon on the main stage. Like around the time Brad, Drive By Truckers, & They Might Be Giants played.

Losertron, I think you meant you've been "lurking" the boards, not "trolling" the boards. If you are indeed a "lurker," welcome to the board.

Glad to know I'm not the only person here that doesn't want to see arcade fire at sasquatch. Maybe sasquatch can pull robert plant in with the black keys. As a zeppelin fan that would be epic.

There's this phenomenon; Ween fans hate Sonic Youth, and Sonic Youth fans hate Ween. It's like the 'Yr either a Beatles man or an Elvis man' thing.
I hate Sonic Youth. Like, that is the most desperately uninteresting music to me in the fucking world, it makes Arcade Fire sound like George Gershwin.

Also, The Thermals are playing the launch party, right? Shouldn't they be listed as expected? Or is there already evidence they won't be there?
