Been chatting with romanticizer. Anyone else have some lofty weigh loss/self image improvement goals for the new year? I pride myself on eating well throughout the year, but I can't lie. They holidays certainly put me into some baaadd eating and drinking habits.
My routine? Mostly wine (less beer--more calories) Mostly vegetarian, with not many carbs Salads at least 1 time a week for dinner Work out at least 3x a week Try my best to keep calorie count at 1,200 or below/day
My co-worker friend is getting married in September and has been successfully losing weight on weight watchers. I considered it also, but it's uber expensive.
I think the p90x is a bunch of bull, FYI. Regardless, I want to get my "petite figure" back to where it was :-)

I gained back all of the weight I lost before Sasquatch due to a pretty rough patch and I'm a super emotional eater. I'm going carb-free after my birthday (Jan. 18th) and hope to lose a considerable amount before Coachella.

I was planning on starting this the 1st but nothing happens as planned. EVER.
So, starting today this is the new plan: 5 days - Master Cleanse (lemonade diet) 10 days - Fruit & Vegetable Smoothies 5 days - Yogurt, almonds, spinach, eggs, berries ONLY 5 days - Vegetarian protein, vegetables and complex carbs.
Maintenance: Vegetarian. Limited alcohol (ugh!). Very little sugar like <10g per day. Minimal but complex carbs only. Tons o' vitamins. Working out at least 3X per week. Lots of farmers markets.

Wow. I can honestly say I could never ever do that. Liquid only for 10 days sounds unbearable. I can't say I am that fit, I try to eat a balanced diet for the most part and move around but I don't really diet. To each their own, but please stay healthy.

It is quite amazing they can take something as healthy as a cucumber and turn it into something as unhealthy as deep fried pickles.

Fried anything is so good. My girlfriend got me a deep fryer for xmas last year. With great power comes great responsibility though. I've only used it once. I made deep fried battered chocolate eclaires hahaha. Been afraid to use it ever since.

We got my dad-in-law a deep fryer for Christmas that apparently only uses 1 teaspoon of oil to deep fry stuff? I don't know how it works but I'm excited to try it out!
