YAY! How'd it go? Did you wear a dress?! (kidding!) I love hearing all of the details. Fill me in! In for date #2?! Also on another note--For anyone else looking to lose weight/count calories, I've been using this super helpful iPhone app. For all you iPhone nerdz, I enter everything I eat on "MyFitnessPal" and it keeps track of sodium and sugar intake, vitamins, calories, etc. And if you keep up with it on a daily basis, it'll tell you how much you'd weigh if you ate certain things, reminds you of your goals, deducts calories if you document exercises (even cooking burns calories!) and so on. Its pretty cool and its been helping me stay more aware of my intake. Justa tidbit for yinz!

We just went out for drinks. I've been hanging out at his place till late every night since then, so that's why I've been absent. I didn't wear a dress Cat, not quite ready for that yet. I really like him though, and he's the first 'mature' guy I've ever 'dated', so I hope it works out. I'll try to catch up on the board on the weekend! <3

It was amazing! He's a really great guy. I think possibly the first guy I've dated that actually likes me. I think the other guys had 'other' reasons for being with me... He really wants to do things right, and he's a total gentlemen. I think a big factor is that he's older. He's 29 to my 22, which doesn't bother me one bit, but I like to bug him about it. I crashed at his place after my concert on Saturday and we hung out all day yesterday, which was a total blast.. Not sure if we'll have time to hang out this week, but for sure on the weekend.

I'm so glad souly! I hope he continues to be a gent! As for the age diff, age ain't no-thing but a number. I've noticed that a lot of boys take a little bit longer to mature than girls do, so I've always dated a few years older too. (no offense, boyz!) On that note, enjoy your next few dates and keep us (me) posted!!

Ha ha, I went out with a 19 year old a couple times last month (I'm 25). That was interesting....Really sweet girl, but man, we had nothing in common.

I was seeing a 19 year old for a few weeks this past fall (I'm 24) and yea, interesting is a good way to describe it. I think once you make it into your mid 20's then it doesn't really matter if you're 25, 35, or hell even 45 in some cases. There are just some certain "grown-up" traits that 95% of people in their teens (as well as being under the drinking age) just don't naturally have yet. I myself prefer surrounding myself with people a few years older than me, so 19 was definitely a one time, and slightly failed, experiment.

That's a good point. Six years isn't a big gap at all, but that 19-25 age difference is just a huge gap life experience wise.
Although up in Canada, she was allowed into the bars, so I can't even imagine what it would have been like down in the States.

Yeah, having to sign paperwork to the affect that 'you will not provide alcohol to minors' so you can go to prom? Priceless...

For one reason- It was at the Experienced Music Project in seattle. I was in the dancing area for maybe 5% of the time, tops. The rest of my time was spent checking out the museum without having to deal with people.
