Slightly related, yesterday I ate the most delicious piece of cheesecake that I said, and still believe, if I can have it everyday I will never need a guy and will be completely happy. If anyone is ever in San Diego, go to Tender Greens and try their white chocolate strawberry cheesecake.

I just had it for the first time last night! Hands down, the best meal I've had in SD since I moved here. Although, that's not saying that much since the vast majority of time i'm on campus. blegh.

I feel like this sometimes when I take my first bite into this ah-mazing peanut butter smoothie pie at my favorite joint here in Picks-burg called The Library. sometimes

H&M! I just got a few skirts there this weekend for less than $30! ...and yes, yes it does. Chaco--I fell into H&M's trap last weekend and splurged on a few high waisted skirts and cute everyday tops. Grand total? $25! I love cheap clothes They also had some cute maxi dressed--certainly Sasquatch worthy, but they were sooooo long on my short self. I wasn't in the mood to hem it, either. But for the tall ladies living near an H&M, grab yo'selves some maxis

Def Grandma print, but whatevs. I'm sure you can work it! That's the fun of dressing up for festivals.
I am also pretty short, so I get a little shy about showing leg in the summer (I REFUSE to wear shorts--they're too skanky at the stores I go to), but I snatched a black romper from the Pink section at Victoria's Secret last year and wore it to the fest. It was great to accessorize with--a chunky necklace and a cardigan with some fun sandals. The cardi was a must since it gets chilly a night.
I'm getting excited thinking about my wardobe for the Gorge! Let me know if you run across anything else.

AHH! me too! I underprepared last year and so I had to wear cords and a thick north face jacket most of the time because it was literally the only two long-sleeved/pantsed things I brought last year. I'm packing some effing hot-hands too.

Hahaa, yeah--us southerners don't do well in that cold desert nighttime weather, do we? I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but if it helps, I brought jeans in my bag and changed into jeans and a hoodie in the Honey Buckets after the sun set. Though it wasn't a highly fashionable or graceful moment, I certainly was warmer than I would've been if I was just in a breezy dress.

As for the jeans, Cat, did you just carry them around all day? Do you guys usually bring in backpacks, or large handbags and just deal with them all day? If I'm going to be up front for a set, I don't want to have to deal with a huge bag. However, not bringing anything inside would be pretty unrealistic.

Oh, and since this is the girly thread, I might as well share about a recent purchase. Lately I've been hearing a LOT about Katy Perry's OPI shatter nail polish, so I figured I'd give it a shot. So far I've only used it once, over a light purple creme polish, but I think it will look even better over neon. Stock image:

That is very cool! My sister brought me back these stick on nail polish things from California.. They're supposed to be 'easy and convenient' but they took me like an hour to get on, so I wouldn't recommend them.

i'm going with chillwave colors for the nail polish. cool robin's egg blues, and warm coral orange/pinks. then again, i don't really plan on chilling that much, so maybe i'll rethink it. that brings me to my next point, the same point Chaco made: bags-- the thought of lugging around tote sack again this year kind of makes me cringe, though I got this really sweet dakine backpack that would probably not put up too much of a fuss. What kind of bags do you ladies recommend?

As staying in the vain of this thread, we'll just chock it up to me being a man and not knowing of these fashions the way a girl would.

WIN. I know what you mean, but bringing in a bag was a necessity for me since you can't go back to your campsite during the day. I usually rolled up a pair of jeans, a light weight hoodie, some snacks, a water bottle, my camera (which is an amateur/pro camera, so it isn't a slim little guy) etc and stuffed them in a bag. It wasn't too terrible. The boy also stuffed a beach towel in his bag so we could sit on something nice on the grass in between shows on the hill. I was in the pit most of the weekend and schleped my little tote bag with me. Most of the time, I just put it on the ground in between my feet and forgot about it until the show was over. I don't know how dancy you get, though, so it depends. Bring something slightly over-sized and canvas. Or take a small backpack in. You won't be the only one. Trust me.

Hmm. I might rock my Timbuk2. Durable, but I'm not sure if it will be big enough...

Just looked up Timbuk2s--That should be totally fine! it just depends on what you stuff in there. If jeans don't work for you, throw a pair of leggings or sweatpants in instead.
And if you need an excuse to buy another bag, I really like LeSportsac's brand. They can get pricey for everyday bags, but there's a sale on ebags.com going on and they're pretty cheap. There are some great sexually, duffles, cross-bodies, etc. I think I've seen a few last season pieces from TJ MAXX and stuff, too.
I am probably going to snatch one up on come payday!
