Might as well come to the Gorge with me the following weekend. One thing to understand about me is that I don’t like Phish. Hahaha I know this, I’m just horsin’ around. Excited to see you, my dude. Both Ween shows was the correct choice.

As of right now, we are still just 100% committed to Bend, but I got tickets to both just in case. Mrs Pancakes still feels like both might be too much of a commitment, especially considering that we are supposed to go to Ozzy in Tacoma the following weekend, but I have 5 months to convince her that both is the only right choice. Besides, I have serious doubts about whether Ozzy will even make it to that show.

Am I hearing murmurs of a Bend Boardie Meetup? Some pals and I are making the trek down and will be camping out most of the weekend.

Thing 2020 dates will be announced Tuesday. We all know the dates it'll be, but nice to have confirmation. There are still a couple camping spots available for the weekend at Fort Townsend State Park, which is about 5 miles from Fort Worden (where spots are all sold out, no surprise). These are nice, big, shady spots for $32 per night.... versus being packed in at the fairgrounds - if you can even get a camping pass there.

Really can’t say I’m too disappointed and I’m certainly not surprised. Ozzy needed to hang it up years ago.

Specifically, the double Ween part, not the Ozzy needs treatment part. The current plan is to take it easy at Marymoor and get on the road after the show, so we can split up the driving and make it to Bend in time for dooks to be fully kooked.

I think we will end up staying in Seattle Friday night. We would be in trouble if we didn’t visit with [name redacted] while we are there. I’m thinking we’ll do Marymoor, then head over to Northgate, spend the night with [name redacted], get up early, hit Patty’s Eggnest, then head south and kook whatever dooks we can before the Saturday show.

They live on 115th, between Roosevelt & Pinehurst, so like 2 blocks from Patty’s.
