RICK ROSS BAWS! June 16th at the BMO centre. His tour dates have him at the Gorge in June? The fuck is that? Summer Jam. I just saw it yesterday. He is there on Saturday with a bunch of dinguses. But, Friday has Ice Cube, Bone Thugs, E-40, and Too $hort. Tickets are only $50 and I actually considered getting one. If I didn't know it was going to be packed with Summer Jam crowd, I probably would have. Edit: What is the plural of dingus? Dingi? Oh shit, that looks hilarious! Ice Cube, Bone Thugs and Rick Ross!?!?!? Hell yeah! Too bad the douche nozzle Chris Brown is headlining.

I only go to DP shows to see Nadine get to "SUCK MY DICK" levels to be honest.

If you see somebody without a face at Sasquatch, it's because Queens of the Stone Age melted mine off last night. I hope it regrows in time for it to be melted off again at Sasquatch. Fucking great show. He didn't play with QotSA, but Nick Oliveri sang on "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, but I Feel Like a Millionaire." It was his first time performing with the band since 2004, and both he and Josh really seemed to enjoy it. I wondered why they didn't open their set with that song because they have for most of this year, but it made sense when they played it with him during the encore. Saw the footage of this, looked pretty fucking sweet. Here's hoping they let him tag along for the Gorge show... and Lanegan... and Grohl... I have this suspicion that Grohl would turn up for a Queens set. Or maybe Mould plays with QOTSA or Dave comes too.. With Bob Mould playing the weekend too. And with Grohl being involved with both of them. But I'm also hoping for a them crooked vultures performance. And really want a nirvana and Paul McCartney set. Yeah, Paul McCartney set. At the gorge. So fucking nice... Shit dreams sometimes come true. I. Hope.

Sharon Van Etten, anyone going to her Seattle show? I went 1% status and got premier tickets. Also might check out one of the nights of her Portland sets. Vancouver, yeah, contemplating that night too. I have an SVE problem, #VanHalenLives

It's not like there is a 0% chance of it happening but if you're looking for special guests Sasquatch really isn't the festival to go to. What's the biggest special guest they've had? Rainn Wilson introducing the National? The dude from Harvey Danger singing a song with Death Cab?

You mean Rainn Wilson introducing Fleet Foxes' second set of the day because The National's bus broke down and they were a day late!

He was both the biggest and the smallest special guest they're ever had.

Yeah, dolphinately the racoon. I mean, if Tenacious D can't even bring out John C. Reilly 2 hours after he played his own set at a festival called Sasquatch...

I was thinking for a while about who the fuck is Raccoon, is this some band I haven't heard of? But then I remembered how great it was that Raccoon opened up for Beck. And Goldbeard I second the close second on mini Beck. That was super rad. Wouldn't doubt if Beck does the Sasquatch rounds again next year with his album doing well this year.

I loved Raccoon. He had the greatest stage presence.

I've seen Raccoon eighteen times, at venues much tinier than the Gorge. I'm over it. I went to see Spiritualized instead.

I went to high school with Raccoon's cousin. My sister blew him at a party once.
