I recently found out some info that will make saturday september 24th in Vancouver a very good day.
First, Dan Mangen is doing a secret show in Vancouver at 1:00 in the afternoon. 100.5 The Peak will announce the location of the show at 11:00 the day of on their facebook and twitter.
The other one is in the movies thread...

So BSS is apparently going on hiatus, and playing their last show in San Francisco before they do, and Isaac Brock will be joining them for a few songs. GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY!

Did anyone catch Iron & Wine at Paramount last weekend? I'm curious as to whether if they were better than they were at Sasquatch.

i dont know what that means? It was going to mean that I'm not that big of a fan of them and couldn't really comment on how it is relative to the regular Why? experience, but instead it means On the up side I found out tonight that I might be able to go see Primus in October... for free.

i was going to say that you might like why more acoustically if you didn't know them well but then i realized that was a ridiculous lie. sorry you couldn't go.
I will say that you shouldn't see primus even for free
^deal with it

How the fuck can you have an opinion on Primus when Pitchfork has never reviewed one of their records?
Oh wait, I get it. Your opinion of Primus IS "Pitchfork has never reviewed one of their records."

I really don't like primus I've never passed up an opportunity to pay $30+ to see Les Claypool perform live, regardless of what I think about his output. Watching him play the bass is literally a jaw dropping experience.

Legit. No matter how you slice it, Les is without question one of the most talented musicians living today. I don't give a rat's ass about Rush but if I were able to go see Neil Peart do his thing I sure as hell would do it.
