I have a music connection as well, which is ironic based on the previous conversations. My friend's ex-classmate's wife's friend IS actually a cousin of one of the Fleet Foxes. True story.
She still doesn't believe Drew's story, but agrees the Foxes will be at Sasquatch. Welcome to the board Drew, you are almost out of jail.
Since we're all bragging about connections, I guess I COULD ask Chaz (Toro Y Moi) if he's hitting up Sasquatch this year. I'll get back to you guys on that.

Arcade Fire have announced that they are headlining the Benicàssim festival in Spain on July 17th of '11. With this and all the Coachella rumors surrounding them it could be early indication that they are doing the festival circuit like LCD Soundsystem has done the past year. Also at Key Arena Win Butler hinted that we would be seeing more of them soon...
So... I was purusing through some old work and came across a Production company I used to use for school shows and local gigs and what-not, they have a list of a bunch of artists. Most of the artists that are of the Sasquatch variety have a customary "call for information," under their pricing, but artists like the Foo Fighters, and MMJ, and WEEN do not.
I'm sure they were able to do some price discounts of some kind, but still with Foo Fighters listed at $300k +, and bands like MMJ and WEEN only at $75k, this doesn't bode so well for a strong under-card like we saw last year....

I don't think this necessarily means anything. With it being the tenth anniversary and all, I wouldn't be surprised if they were willing to make a bit less profit in order to build the brand more.
Plus, they're getting an extra day of ticket sales for Friday, but I'm pretty sure Friday won't have as many bands playing as the rest of the weekend does, so they can afford to put spend a bit more on one of the headliners.
