I agree that lineup is near flawless. Fine list you got there Yosh. Only one possible conflict is The Black Keys announced today that they are cancelling all planned upcoming shows due to exhaustion from touring a year straight. Source: fmqb. Hope that doesn't mean sasquatch as well.

I stopped caring after Ghostland and Chemical Brothers. That list is beautiful.
Didn't really notice many dance tent names though. Am I just ignorant to some of the artists in that list?
EDIT: I spotted a couple, but it still seems to be lacking in that department a bit.

Has anyone had the courage to wade into the miserable stew that is the Coachella board to see if this lineup rumor is kicking around over there too? No mention of it.

I am pretty sure that this lineup was solely a result of very good guessing skills, a lot of thought, and a big imagination (very nice, by the way!). If it is right, my friend Andy straight up lied about Toro Y Moi (unless they were just confirmed like a few days ago). Also this is in the GUESS the 2011 lineup.
And I'm sure I'm going to be constantly barraged with opposition to this, but Foo Fighters, Outkast, Soundgarden, and Arcade Fire, even with the 10th Anniversary hullabaloo, still seems like a bit of a pipe dream to have all of those in one Sasquatch.

That was my initial reaction as well, especially considering the undercard packs just as much of a punch (if not more of one) than last year's line-up. But of course that's debatable. Is it possible that Sasquatch! made a considerably larger amount of money than they spent on acts last year in preparation for the 10th anniversary?

Fistful of Mercy would fulfill the biennial Ben Harper quota... I think this addition adds to the validity of this post?

This is the comment I most agree with. Come on? There are about 15 fake Coachella posters every year. All Yoshimi is doing is adding confirmed and rumored acts, with a bunch of acts that make sense. If you know anything about local music in the PacificNW, you could make a lineup guess this accurate. With that said, it's a good list. I don't think Yoshimi is trying to deceive anyone, since this is the guess the lineup thread, but I'm sure he/she is getting a kick out of the responses. Lineups don't get leaked three weeks prior to the announcement. They get leaked the day before, or the day before the day before. This lineup is absolutely 100% false. However, welcome to the board yoshimi. It's nice to have something else to talk about.

I know know pretty much quashed all hope, but since I didn't get to gush...
...if this is the lineup, the fest will sell out the day after it's announced. The billing seems vaguely realistic - Chem Bros. have the stature to headline Sasquatch, but not the brand of music - they couldn't put them up against another EDM act in the tent. So, why not give them three hours from, like 9-midnight, in the tent alongside a headliner like Soundgarden? I can tell you where I'd be. This is a model Coachella has been very successful with, and I know that we're not in socal, but EDM is growing by leaps and bounds everywhere, and Sasquatch's population is more diverse every year as its reputation shines.
And honestly, the undercard isn't that much better than last year's. Take out the headliners (FF, AF, Outkast, Soundgarden) and subs (Lips, Black Keys, Roots, PJ, Death Cab) and the lineup looks pretty realistic to me.
All I'm saying is, 10th anniversary show, Zacks said they have big plans...you just never know.

speaking of artists releasing new albums in the spring, Meat Puppets are putting out a new album in April. Would they still be considered a "reunited" band or be eligible to fill the "holy shit they're still making music!?" spot that Nada Surf or The Posies occupied last year?

The only Primavera crossovers are Fleet Foxes, Das Racist, and Grinderman, but I may have missed some. I am, however, a little skeptical since Foo Fighters are listed ahead of Soundgarden. I would expect Soundgarden to lead this list. If this is not a leak, yoshimi did a fantastic job compiling this list. He did disappear after posting this, à la bigtitsmcgee or whoever the hell leaked the line-up last year. If yoshimi did know that this is, in fact, the correct lineup, why would he feel compelled to post this regarding Broken Bells: Of course whether they show up will probably depend on how much money Live Nation throws at them. If he knows this is the correct setlist, wouldn't he know that Broken Bells won't be there? I sure hope he is enlightened and not just a 32-year old asshole. Sorry if I read too much into this post...

The only reason I could see FF ahead of Soundgarden would be if he is listing the Headliners for the four nights in order...
Friday - Foo Fighters, Saturday - Outkast, Sunday - Soundgarden, Monday - Arcade Fire

If that's true, another thing that seems a bit off is that a former headliner (the Flaming Lips) are appearing in a non-headliner role.

They subbed for Ben Harper in '06 as well, but they ended up playing last due to the hail storm debacle.
*edit* all of this said, I would be very surprised if this list ends up being completely factual. (and happy)

Yeah, but I can see them taking a sub spot if they're only doing Dark Side. I'm not getting my hopes up or anything, but I'll jump on board the "this lineup would be fucking perfect" train. Outkast at the Gorge....

think of it this way, If those were the headliners at Coachella it'd be a big deal. Sasquatch always has smaller headliners than Coachella does...
it's not the lineup

The Chemical Brothers would need a tent at least 3 times larger than the one they had last year. I would imagine them drawing a similar sized crowd to last year's Deadmau5 set. I think they definitely got it right by putting the late night EDM artists on the Bigfoot stage.

I wasn't sure where to post this on these boards but I figured this would be as god a spot any so here is what may, or may not, be a fairly accurate forecast for Sasquatch! 2011: Foo Fighters/Outkast/Soundgarden/Arcade Fire/the Flaming Lips performing Dark Side of the Moon/The Black Keys/The Roots/PJ Harvey/Death Cab for Cutie/Queens of the Stone Age/Fleet Foxes/Mudhoney/The Decemberists/Wu Tang Clan/Fistful of Mercy/Bright Eyes/Ghostland Observatory/Chemical Brothers/Cold War Kids/Cake/Cee Lo Green/Chromeo/Wiz Khalifa/Janelle Monae/Surfer Blood/Das Racist/Fitz and the Tantrums/The Drums/Matt & Kim/Metric/Best Coast/And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead/Sleigh Bells/Wavves/Florence and the Machine/Wolf Parade/Flying Lotus/Black Mountain/Black Rebel Motorcycle Club/the Builders and the Butchers/Dead Confederate/Fruit Bats/Toro Y Moi/Destroyer/the Twilight Singers/Wire/Menomena/Weekend/Cage the Elephant/The Kills/Blue Scholars/Jaill/Grinderman/The Streets/Happy Birthday/Fergus and Geronimo/Old 97s/Pearly Gates Music/Mew/Warpaint/Retribution Gospel Choir/The Presidents of the USA/Wild Flag/Papercuts/Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks/Ted Leo & the Pharmacists/Titus Andronicus/Wintersleep/Delta Spirit/The Head and the Heart/Moondoggies/Macklemore/Mister Heavenly/Ezra Furman and the Harpoons/Mad Rad/Maktub/the Seattle Rock Orchestra performing Radiohead/Joel McHale/Childish Gambino/Donald Glover/Dave Attell/Nick Kroll/John Mulaney/Rob Delaney/Reggie Watts/Nikki Glaser/Anthony Jesselnik/Wyatt Cyenac May seem strange but it was the comedians that made me think it was legit. I was browsing though them and I noticed "Childish Gambino" listed. I follow comedy pretty closely and I had no idea who the hell this person was (sorry maybe everyone else did but i didn't). Upon doing some research it appears that its Donald Glover (community) doing some type of comedy rap act. This is entirely likely if you think back to the twofers of the past (Todd barry solo and with the red wine boys and Martina Topley Bird solo and with Massive Attack just to name a few). Seems like historically Sasquatch has tried to get their money's worth when the bring in an act. If its not accurate, and it may not be, its a damn good guess and someone went to great lengths to make a possible lineup.
