Fair enough.
Tripoli is such a perfectly mellow tune.

Pinback is always much faster live.
I initially found it annoying. I have since grown to love it.

Big Business was rowdy! Their set on Friday had the usually subdued Bellingham crowd in a frenzy. I have not seen stage diving in the Shakedown before. There was beer being thrown everywhere and I was a sweaty mess by the end of it. Good times indeed. They had to borrow Red Fang's drum set for the show.
Sandrider not being able to make it was a huge bummer. Tacos! filled in for them and they did a hell of a job. Tacos! are a two piece (girl drummer dude guitarist) and play a heavy set. I was pleasantly surprised by them.
The Bali Girls blew me away. I guess they were a staple of the Bellingham heavy scene but this was my intro to them. They also played a heavy set but were extremely triptastic at times. The Shakedown does it again!

Dude how the fuck was SunnO)))?? Between them and Neurosis I've really been striking out on the noisy stuff lately. SunnO))) was really intense. I kind of felt like I was sitting in an audience that was stuck in the hypnotoad's trance. I mean that in a good way. I do not actually own any of their albums and don't know their music. I have just read about their live performance and needed to witness it myself. I loved it! Black Breath tore that place to pieces. They are always booked to play at smaller/grimier venues in town and they are from BHAM. When they were talking to the crowd they mentioned how they never thought they would be playing at the Buffalo but were stoked to do so. They are amazing and I would highly recommend seeing them if you get a chance. They are playing on 2/2 with Sandrider at The Crocodile. I would totally be there if I wasn't going to Built To Spill that night. Loincloth was also rad. I only got to see the last 2 songs and I was pissed that I missed their set. They sounded great SunnO))) are so good live they made my friend vomit.

Lessee. Off the top of my head, I remember them playing 'Big Dipper', 'I Would Hurt a Fly', 'Carry the Zero', 'Sidewalk', 'Built to Spill' (!!!), a cover of Captain Beefheart's 'Abba Zaba' (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), 'Stab'... I just woke up and I got pretty crunk last night. The rest will come to me.

Oh, and a Smiths cover, but fuck if I know the names of any Smiths songs. 'How Soon Is Now?' AKA the theme song from Charmed on the good ole WB. So random but so good.

A few others I'm forgetting right now.

Yeah your set sounds pretty close to the one I saw at the Wonder Ballroom a few years ago.
