Um, I was actually asking him about his animal to have a friendly conversation. I have the same sort of small animals. And that post from him was a couple days ago so I didn't remember if he stated if it was old or not. Jesus, is everything fighting with you guys? Other people seem to understand my posts just fine so tough shit if you can't read my messages. It's the most convenient way to be on the forums for me. You're posting in the thread intended for arguing with one another. HG's thread regarding his pet is in the SAME section as this one and only the next one down the list. If you were looking to have friendly conversation with him about it, why do it in the thread that has been dedicated to putting one another down? Spelling isn't hard. I wasn't sure how he would take it. As far as I'm concerned, he only replies to the negative comments I say. I haven't actually got that far in the offtopic thread yet. I'm sort of multitasking between online and real life shit right now. So I pick and choose what threads to read rather quickly. ...and for the last time, spelling is not my main concern when rushing to post something within only a minute left 'til break's end. |

Well the first part of that post was negative, but I was just teasing him. After all, those guys in the movie thread think i took what they said seriously.
He seems to take a lot of what I say in a negative way. He, in turn, has nothing nice to say to me... So, yeah, I was certain
it would get negative reception from him.

Hancho, yeah, my ferret was old. My wife and I got her about four months after we met. The three of us have been through an incredible amount of shit together. Audrey Horne was part of our family and we loved her more than I know how to express. That ferret had more personality in her little claws than you ever will. She has been very sick for about six months with insulinoma, which is kind of like diabetes. She had tumores on her pancreas and would frequently have seizures. She lost a lot of weight and for the last couple weeks she couldn't move around very well. Since mid-December we've had to hand-feed her and give her an antibiotic and a steroid every night before we go to sleep. My wife, bless her heart, had to stay in Portland while I went down to California to see Primus for two nights and also to attend a huge family reunion - at which she was the only one of us who wasn't there. Just so she could take care of our old friend, Miss Audrey Horne.
Last week Audrey started to seize terribly. Her jaws were clenched and her tiny little body was in horrible spasms. Every ten minutes or so she would start screaming. You have ferrets, have you ever heard a ferret scream dude? They only do it when they are in terrible pain. This went on for six hours, our sweet little girl writhing and screaming. Incredibly scared, an in an incredible amount of pain. It was the middle of the night and so we didn't even have the option of taking her to a doctor to put her to sleep. We had to do it ourselves, dude. By 4:00am, when it was obvious that there was nothing in the world we could do, I tore my house apart looking for an old plastic bag I had with an oxycontin in it that I'd lying around since I'd had my wisdom teeth pulled. I crushed it up with some water and used the oral syringe we'd been using to give her her steroid to administer it to her. We took turns, while the other held her tiny body and rubbed her chin and told her that we loved her and that we would miss her forever.
Yes, she was old. She was sick. But she lived a good life and we took care of her every day, and every day she knew she was loved. So you LISTEN you disgusting little piece of rat shit, I don't give a FUCK what disagreements we have about the fucking childish music you listen to. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK about you sitting around this fucking message board shitting all over the place because you think it's funny and cool to be the biggest shitpoke out of all of us. You had to stoop to the filthiest, cruellest level imaginable but you pissed me off and I do NOT mind saying so. Look around you, look at this group of people - there's a couple hundred of us, and we are all really different and we have our disagreements but we all keep coming back to this place because it seems we can more or less stand each other. In front of all these people, from all over the country, you don't mind being that fucking disgusting, that fucking vile, to get a crack in at me. I had a feeling you would take it the wrong way. I'm sorry man. I wasn't intending to piss you off with those questions.
Look, my goal isn't to come here and make anybody's day bad. I just want to discuss these thread topics without people attacking me from all around. I don't respond well to that. I admit that some of the things I've said on my time here were a little childish, but thats kind of my defense mechanism. Believe it or not, I haven't personally attacked anyone (atleast intentionally) on here for their opinions on music or movies and the feeling is mutual on our disagreements. I'm not really the fighting type dude. In fact, if you (or anyone) were to ever know me in real life, I'd probably be one of the easiest people to get along with. I really am being percieved as the polar opposite of myself on this board.
All that aside, HOLY SHIT dude, I did not expect you to go into that much detail aside from maybe how old she was. That is really fucked up. I can definitely relate to the ferret screams. They are very horrific! I have three older (about 4yrs) male ferrets that
like to pick on the young female one we just got. Its pretty messed up. Anyways, I love them alot and I'm really not looking forward to the day that something like what you just described will happen. I really am sorry for your loss man. I meant no disrespect.
