1. Ween - Seen them before and wasn't shocked by how good they were, perfect ending to a great weekend. 2. LCD Sounsystem - Never listened to them before so I had no expectations going in. They fuckin rocked. 3. Public Enemy - Saw them in London a few years ago at Brixton Academy and about 14 years ago and this was the best I've seen them by far, they were on. 4. Band Of Horses - Expected them to be good but no idea that they would be that good. 5. The Hold Steady - Amazing energy, glad I chose them over the National as I was looking to dance.

1. Deadmau5 2. The Tallest Man on Earth 3. LCD Soundsystem 4. Vampire Weekend 5. The National
Honorable mentions going to Local Natives, Massive Attack, The Heavy, Mumford & Sons, Broken Social Scene, MGMT, Boys Noize.
Fuck, I mean really...every band I saw completely blew me away. The ones that I enjoyed most were really just the ones that I danced the hardest to. Except for The Tallest Man, but I literally teared up for a second when he first started playing so of course he's going to be high on my list.

- Stay off the weed cookies. x100000 My buddy baked these weed chocolate granola bar things and I ate one before going in on Sunday and it messed me up for a good 3 hours. The people in my group kept talking to me and I didn't even know how to form words in response haha. I just stood quietly and swayed back and forth to Local Natives and the Tallest Man.

We made peanut butter weed cookies and I ate 2 right before Patton Oswalt came on stage. I was fucked up all the way up until the National finished. It was probably the best part of the festival for me. I ate another one during Band of Horses on Monday and it probably made the MGMT set seem a lot better than it actually was.

1. My Morning Jacket 2. Broken Social Scene 3. Ween 4. Massive Attack 5. Booka Shade
I'm don't recall headliners making my list of top 5 in the past, but the three this year were amazing.

apparently being at the very front for LCD makes you unable to fully appreciate the "dance movements" the entire crowd did for "All My Friends", but now that I've seen the video, I have to admit, that was pretty crazy.

MOTHER. FUCKING. WEEN. God damn they were on fire. That Voodoo Lady was BLISTERING.
LCD blew my shit away.
And what an endearing TMBG set. That was my 18th time seeing them, and the first of those 18 that they didn't play Particle Man. That is probably one of the largest, if not THE largest, crowd they've ever played to, and the ever unflappable John Flansburgh seemed to be in a little over his head. Rad-badical rendition of Dr. Worm, even if Clap Your Hands never got off the ground. Man they're starting to look old.
The National. After how they tore up the Wookie stage in `08 I wondered if they could manage the big crowd. THEY DID!
And yeah, catching Deadmau5' set at the height of an ecstasy jaunt was everything I hoped it would be. His music sucks balls but when you've got ten million lasers and pupils the size of dinner plates, who can really give a shit?
PAVEMENT was not only the worst set of the weekend, but one of the worst sets I've ever seen in my life. I've never been much of a fan, but Malkmus in full-on Bitch Princess mode and a five minute tambourine solo less than fifteen minutes into the set while they cried about sound problems? God, they should have left Pavement in the ground where they belong. The fact that they gave LCD a 60 minute set so that Pavement could dick around all evening really burns my hash.
And fuck Tegan and Sara. If I wanted to, I could cram the same crappy drum beat into every single Ani DiFranco song ever written with my MacBook, at home.

Dude yeah! Everyone spontaneously did the Teen Wolf! My one goal for the weekend was to do the Teen Wolf and have everybody just join in like in the movie, but LCD made it happen before I could, god bless `em.

LCD Soundsystem was like seeing Talking Heads at the top of their game. I REALLY hope this isn't their last tour, that set was just fucking unbelievable (and they didn't even play Dance Yrself Clean).

LCD went from being a band that i really liked to being one of my favorite bands on earth after the sasquatch performance. everything from the music to the crowd to the weather was just absolutely perfect about their set.
On sort of a side note, I was flipping through the album "information" options of This Is Happening on my car's cd player and instead of displaying the title of the album it simply says "last album." I've been hearing the rumors but this was just sad to see.

really hoping LCD makes a stop in Seattle before they supposedly break up the band, i need to see a full set from them one way or another. i think it made me hate pavement's set even more knowing that they were taking up a slot they didn't deserve. putting a band whose average song length is somewhere around 7 minutes in an hour timeslot is fucking inexcusable. i was leaning on the rail just outside the pit for LCD's set and seeing nearly the entire crowd getting into it for All My Friends gave me the chills. even though they got screwed on their slot the crowd sure let them know they were awesome.

Yeah, and then the crowd left as quickly as possibly before Pavement took the stage. That almost made it worth it.

TOP FIVE PERFORMANCES: 1. Massive Attack - WOW! 2. LCD Soundsystem - What can I say that hasn't already been said? They were brilliant. 3. The New Pornographers - Ridiculous Setlist. MGMT who? 4. Local Natives - Holy Mustache, batman! 5. My Morning Jacket - Insane performance, setlist. Bravo!
MOST UNINSPIRED PERFORMANCE: Pavement - I was really looking forward to seeing them, but they lost me like 15 minutes in... which bums me out. I couldn't help but checking the time throughout their set waiting for it to end, so that Massive Attack could take the stage. It was the longest 90 minutes of my life. Torture.

It was quite impressive, I showed my friend and the first thing he said was " thats a whole lot of white people" Also, if you want a good laugh look up "Kid breaks his face to lcd soundsystem" on youtube.
