My favourite bar here has a Bose sound system. It makes the terrible music they play sound oh so sweet.

FD told me about this too, so it must have been an impressive moment. That guy, like, straight up told a stranger not to sully a perfectly good headphone warranty with their own personal shit!

That was fucking awesome.
Me: I bought an $80 pair of Sennies and they lasted me like eight months. Geno's Friend: Those are probably still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Me: Yeah, I'm not the kind of guy who follows through on a warranty. Geno's Friend: That sounds like a personal problem.

Maybe because that dude was 12.

Also I stayed until the very end of St. Vincent and had a rad spot for Jack White. I was even maybe five minutes late, but it took about ten minutes for Jack White to really get in gear and the last ten minutes of St. Vincent's set were basically the greatest thing that happened all weekend. He totally tried to leave before her last song but I wasn't moving so he decided to stay with me.

Stormy and I were engaged during St. Vincent. In other words, I was spazzing out and between every song I would tell her how good the next song was going to be.

I was staring at the stage with my mouth gaping wide trying not to freak out at how good it was. I am glad we could share that time, Drew.

I had a tickle in the base of my spine and couldn't stop writhing in the throes of that guitar

St. Vincent was so so good. I brought a friend who had never heard of her and she was so impressed after the first song that we stayed for most of the set. DAMN that St Vincent/Wolfgang/Jack White conflict!! I want to see each of those shows one after another!
