We haven't done a poll for a while. Pick which day you are looking forward to the most, and tell us why you like that day's lineup the best.

Because every band I am seeing that day kicks ass! Mumford, Portugal, Brad, Edward Sharpe, The Hold Steady, The National, MMJ and Deadmau5...FUCK YEAH!
Plus I love the first day because your adrenaline is up and coming down the hill from the gate and seeing the Gorge is an amazing experience. Takes your breath away!

Yeah I'm going to have to go Saturday for similar reasons... In addition to BSS, and hopefully some Middle East, amazing stacked day... Although Caribou and Massive Attack alone make Sunday a close second!

I'm going with Sunday... and it's pretty much entirely because of MASSIVE ATTACK!!! but also Caribou, Tallest Man on Earth, and LCD Soundsystem.

Plus I love the first day because your adrenaline is up and coming down the hill from the gate and seeing the Gorge is an amazing experience. Takes your breath away! While I thoroughly enjoy this quote/experience, I'm voting for Saturday because of the lineup. Broken Social Scene and My Morning Jacket already had me sold. Other bands like Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons, Miike Snow, Portugal. The Man, Edward Sharpe, The Hold Steady, Deadmau5, and The National might be headlining festivals in a couple years (well, not the Hold Steady). After seeing so many hypothetical schedules ending with Deadmau5, I'm beginning to think I am the only person who thinks MMJ will end later.

MMJ will most def end either later or at the same time as Deadmau5. Personally I would not bank on being able to see Deadmau5 after MMJ, unless you plan on missin' some of the MMJ set.

Gotta be Sunday. Start the day right with Caribou, ride that high over to the comedy tent, bounce around a little. Then the home stretch: The XX / LCD Soundsytem / Pavement / Massive Attack. And you've got yourself a win.

For me it's Saturday.
Minus the Bear / Portugal. The Man / Patton Oswalt / Broken Social Scene / Drinking Beer --> The Hold Steady / Vampire Weekend / My Morning Jacket / If I'm still alive and he's still playing --> Deadmau5

Saturday: Mumford & Sons, Patrick Watson, BSS, The National, MMJ 5 of my top ten for sure. Plus just the mystique around the first day, and some people actually want to party after the show that day!

I vote for Saturday if only because of Deadmau5. There's like a dozen other great bands playing that day, but I'm pretty sure Deadmau5 is going to be THE party of the weekend.
Sunday I'm going to drag my ass out of bed to see TMBG in the afternoon, but beyond that the name of the game is recovering in time for WEEN.

I voted Sunday. Pavement is the trump card. Pavement trumps everything.

This is officially Pavement's last chance to make me care about them. I had all their records back in the late 90's, but by the time I got around to listening to them wholeheartedly they had already been bestowed Indie Godfather status and I was like, man, I just don't see it. And that kind of music was totally my bag, and also I grew up within 45 minutes of Stockton so you'd think I had some local pride... Nah. I really don't expect their set to change my mind -- all the great things I've ever heard people say about Pavement didn't include "They were an incredible live band".
They're up against the mighty Dirty Projectors, and I'm opting for Pavement because this is a Once in a Lifetime thing. I'm not necessarily looking forward to kicking myself over that choice.

I was bit surprised Saturday isn't running away with this poll, until I thought about the rarity of the acts on Sunday.
LCD Soundsystem: They don't tour much, and may never again. Pavement: Most of us have never had the chance to see them, and never will again (minus the 321 shows they are playing this year) Public Enemy: They only play one offs at festivals and county fairs. Massive Attack: RARELY tours in the US.
That's pretty amazing actually. And City & Colour will be there!

That's pretty amazing actually. And City & Colour will be there! The secondary trump card. Though I would prefer to see him perform in a spoken word environment to really get the quality of his lyrics out in the open.

Sunday: Pavement, LCD, the xx, Dirty Projecotrs, Yacht to name a few. Only problem with this day is a lot of overlap for me.
