Because they honestly don't owe us a lineup on time, a schedule on time, or anything, really. What's going to happen if they don't release the schedule until Saturday morning, three hours before the festival begins? Not a god damn thing.
Flooding them with e-mail might incite their spite enough to get us just that.

not demanding a schedule. just something clearer than soon... 6 weeks isnt exactly soon sometimes i want the schedule so bad. like a little gift to help ease the anxiety. other times i dont care cause regardless of how much planning i do before hand i know ill end up just riding the festival out and end up being w/e sasquatch wills me to be. in the past how accurate have the time slots been anyway??

I actually made my own graphs and timings of what times i would go to which stage and what time i would leave that stage and spent probably more than an hour trying to decide how long a stay for a set if there's some sort of conflict where i need to leave early and thing of that nature. Granted, I'd still probably be fine I got the schedule day of. It would just be annoying.

They should not release a schedule, then everyone will wander around in mass confusion, and have more fun because of it.

Just a bingo drum full of ping-pong balls and a bunch of confused artists standing around on Friday. Headliners: Avi Buffalo, Band of Horses, Dr. Dog.

I like these ideas! It would be very interesting to just show and see who you end up seeing. The bands as a whole are good enough that I wouldn't walk away diasappointed regardless of what happens. Also, we would not have to worry about conflicts, thus relieving the stress.

I would love/hate that. I'm the type who experiences miles of regret if they miss something important, yet at the same time, it would be a lot less stressful.

The reason why I like to get the schedule in advance is because for some reason when I can see which two or three bands are playing at a given time, then I can eliminate certain bands. Right now since there's no schedule it's completely open, so I have to go through all 70 bands and figure out which ones I would wanna see. Once the schedule gets out it will make this task much easier for me.

I have probably 20 different possible schedules printed out, and have developed a system to help with conflicts, when I should leave stages, etc. It's tough being this anal about organization. I just want to know if there is a chance in hell that I can see entire sets from the National, BSS and the Hold Steady. That is my biggest conflict, and right now National and BSS are winning.

the only reason I want a schedule is so I can decide who will win in the schedule-conflict death-match, and who I'll go see when they tour up here the week after Sasquatch.

This is my biggest conflict as well. The National is probably my favorite band of the 3 but I'll be seeing them the next weekend in Philadelphia so I can probably do without seeing them. I've never seen BSS before but I have seen the Hold Steady and know they are one of the most fun shows around.

I had a dream last night that they released the schedule and NONE of the bands from the original lineup was listed. I remember seeing Katy Perry and a bunch of really random artists listed. haha

That wasn't a dream. I sure hope that Lady Gaga doesn't conflict with Jonas Brothers!
