Ever since I graduated I get more back since college is so heavily subsidized here. Maybe it's different in Alberta but my girlfriends return went down by $300 once she added in the schooling she took last year. Soon you'll be able to get credit for the interest paid on your loans. How gratifying. Assuming you have loans. This confuses the hell out of me. If you want your people to have less debt, stop rewarding them for having it. |

It's not a reward. It's a deduction I get to claim for being responsible. No handouts being passed my way. |

Oh, did you just mean student loans? I read loans and figured it meant all loans, but in the context of student loans it sounds fair. Americans can still get deductions for interest on a mortgage though, right? Now THAT is crazy. Anyway, back to happy talk. |
