MMJ is amazing live. They are the only saving grace for this travesty of a lineup.

My Morning Jacket seems like a band that was born in the gorge. Love these boys!

I would expect to hear some new songs from MMJ. They have had quite a bit of time off since the Evil Urges tour. They are going for a mini tour with the NO PHJB and are expected to start debuting new material then. I can't wait to see them at the gorge! It will be my first Gorge show and my 4th MMJ show.

When I saw that news about the Preservation Hall Jazz Band tour really made me wonder if it is any indication of what sounds could be on the new album. I know Jim James did some stuff with them, interesting to hear what happens Mar 20 in Alabama

What a set that was - between the warm rain, full on horn section, kirk Hammet, Badu and Womack covers, 4 hrs of music and 8 new tunes (and if you dig Zach Gafalnackis he was there too). That was sweet, then Disco Biscuits 'till dawn:)

Anyone looking for a great resource for live MMJ audio and video try here. www.archive.org/search.php?query=my%20morning%20jacket&sort=-dateThis has the shows sorted in order according to their date. Most shows are streaming and download, some are download only. There isn't a lot of video but there are hundreds of full length concerts.
