$100 for regular camping and $170 for premier camping. Thats a big jump in prices. Thats about a 70% to 75% increase. Pretty crazy, especially when you are only splitting a premier camping with your wife. I am just guessing but, I bet there are probably 1,000 to 1,500 premier spots and 5,000 to 7,500 regular camping spots. Thats an extra couple of hundred thousand in basically profit. This means a couple of things better happen.
1. More showers, more showers, more showers. 2. The free coffee that was supposed to be in premier camping last year, actually being there. 3. The line-up better stay stacked liked last year, with very solid undercards, top comedians, and bigger dance acts.
Anyways, I was a little dismayed when I saw the pricing just now, so more pressure to deliver Sasquatch. I know that you can pull it off.

if its $100 for the weekend then that's the same as last year. If its per day then mathematics would suggest that its a 75% mark up.

When you factor in parking into the overall ticket cost it gets pretty pricey. It would be awesome if parking was free like at Bonnaroo, but no such luck.

Ya I do not think prices are up...but hopefully the camping will improve. I was put in contact with the person heading up the camping last/this year and let them know that the premier camping this past year was basically, well, crap. Mostly with the shower situation. He promised me it would be much better this year, so my fingers are crossed. Plus I scored two free permier camping sites for my feedback

Additional showers are a must.

Indeed the shower situation was unacceptable this year, I had to walk out there at 4am just to not have to wait in a huge line. They should have at least 10-15 showers instead of the 2 (or was it 4?) they had before.

Well i do not think there was much more i could do to stress how much they need more showers. I emailed them a LONG email about the issues i encountered (along with what they had posted on the site and what actually was available in premier camping last year), plus i talked to the dude for like 30 mins on the phone. He asked me what i wanted in return...i told him to just make sure that premier camping was what it should be...when he reassured me that it would be...he asked what else...and threw in a couple of free campsites.
So i hope it wasnt all just blowing smoke up my a** and he actually gets it done.

They should have at least 10-15 showers instead of the 2 (or was it 4?) they had before. They only had 2 showers (2 men, 2 women) but then brought in like 10 showers for the standard camping people, which is what really burned me up. The year before they also only had two showers, but there was only a fraction of the people in premier. Notice there were also no movies after the shows were over each day? Not like I would go watch it but what if there were people with kids going that had their hopes set on watching a movie at night? Hopefully they get it right this year.

another thing that pissed me off last year was the power tripping event staff that yelled at my group for going into an area of the premium campground that wasn't occupied in order to take some pictures of the gorge. there were no signs indicating that the area was off limits, nor were there people stationed to shoo us away, but they made it sound as though we should have known when they rolled up at like 40mph in their little golf cart.
perhaps i'll email them to try to get a free campsite even though i've already ordered one, emphasizing the need for more showers, an actual enforced quiet time from 2-8am, and movies/coffee like they stated there would be.

From what I've seen so far, vip packages are not very different from last year. Bigger viewing areas next to the stages and in and out access to the main venue. Other than that, really no reason for me to put out 1000 extra dollars. If we go, I'm just getting the regular tickets with premiere camping. This time bring my own shower with. 2 shower for all those people. That was an F'ing disgrace. Also, where the hell was the food and movies that was promised? Oh, one more thing. Put a lid on your beverage police. I get kicked in the ribs by one of those pussies again, his mother will not be able to recognize the f'er when I'm done. Some Dan Fogelberg looking prick, kicks me because he can't see my wrist band. Big god damn mistake my friend!

I know people at live nation and I can tell you whether any of this is guaranteed or not.
