You are not searched at all while entering the campground. Safe to bring whatever you want...

So, hopefully somebody can help me out with this scenario:
2 friends and I get a ride from someone to the Gorge, from there, we split off to separate camping on our own, sans car. What would a person in this situation do? Would we have to purchase a camping ticket for our car-less selves? Do we, in fact, need to be tied to a car to even camp there?

Do you guys know what the shower situation is like at the normal camping? Any plug ins at all?

The shower situation is pretty rustic in normal camping and I don't think there are any plug-ins so don't bother bringing your hair dryer. Last year there was a huge (2 hour+) line up for the showers in the morning so I recommend having a shower after the show is over.

I guess that's to be expected with camping. One less thing to bring now!
What's the fire situation like? Are we allowed to have fires or are there like.. designated places that fires are allowed on the camp sites? I'm curious about normal camping and premiere. I'm still debating between the two.
Thanks!

There is no fires allowed in normal or premier camping, I'm almost positive

This will be my third Sasquatch, but I've always camped off site in the past. Our group is considering Gorge camping, but our party will be arriving at all different times, so we will have several vehicles. However, I'm not really familiar with the pass system. I'm assuming that there is no way to use a camping pass for multiple vehicles? Is there anywhere within a 15-20 minute drive to park cars and shuttle people to the grounds with vehicles that do have passes?

We're wondering the same thing! We have a pass for each car going but we will be arriving at different times and wondering how we can locate together. Are there huge line-ups to get into the campgrounds on Friday, a la Bonnaroo? I caught the idea of tarping off an area until our other party arrives but are they going to actually be able to get their car to the spot?
Can't wait!
