One of the guys who runs that LyonPride thing booked my band for a shitty event he was throwing back in 06 or so. I haven't heard his name since but it looks like he's the same toolbag he's always been. Really sucks to hear how many people had their camping experience ruined by him and his crew of creepy old man bros.

Monday morning I was woken up by someone on a megaphone yelling “IF YOU GOT BEERS WE’LL TAKE THAT SHIT”. I thought it was just the Livenation staff trying to gather up trash/recycling but apparently it was those guys.

I just remembered my friends and I got kicked out of a D9 party on thursday. They had a giant white canopy and neon lights so obviously we’re gonna check it out? We walked over and one guy standing in front goes “do you guys like being in places where you’re not welcome?” I was HEATED like for some reason that got under my skin very much, if this went down at diso or watershed, so be it dude, idc. But doing this at a place like Sasquatch? Are you kidding me, look around man you’re in GA

I just remembered my friends and I got kicked out of a D9 party on thursday. They had a giant white canopy and neon lights so obviously we’re gonna check it out? We walked over and one guy standing in front goes “do you guys like being in places where you’re not welcome?” I was HEATED like for some reason that got under my skin very much, if this went down at diso or watershed, so be it dude, idc. But doing this at a place like Sasquatch? Are you kidding me, look around man you’re in GA Wow, what an asshole. A lot of the bigger D9 parties this year were kinda lame and filled with bros. I only went to one D9 party all weekend at a party bus very close to my campsite (not the Lyon Pride guys) and it was just alright, nothing special. Also, it was nice meeting you over the weekend. Only 1 of 2 boardies I got to meet, haha. |

Absolutely the most slept on set of the weekend. My wife was running back and forth between Bigfoot and Chupacabra to checkout both Jlin and Shakey Graves (I stayed around for Shakey Graves). Despite it drawing a pretty huge crowd, I was pretty let down by his show. I really don't think the band that he brought with his new tour is really helping. |
