In '15 we had a bag of meat sitting on the ground out in the sun. As the weekend progressed it got more disgusting and we got less willing to do anything about it. "Bag of meat" became an inside joke that only people pumping their bodies with god knows what at Sasquatch could possibly understand

On if my favorite ongoing memories of Sasquatch is every year while making the drive you begin to see different vehicles packed to the brim with Diet Broweiser and cases of water. You see them and you just know, they’re making the pilgrimage. I hope there’s a revival in camping attendance (District 9). Last year felt like church camp it was so empty out there. I love when you get through the camping gates into the staging areas and you’re forced to wait around 30 minutes before navigating to a campsite. That is one of the best feelings ever, cracking open drinks and hanging/standing on top of the vehicles. Damn, I need to do Caesar’s this year!!! Oh shit really? I haven't been since '15 I figured it was all the same shit

I haven't been since '15 I figured it was all the same shit Last year my camping site in general was 2 rows deep with a few cars. We had two separate “living rooms” and a kitchen/dining area. Our tents created a douchey perimeter, and because we took up so much space they just skipped a row since so many of us were blocking what would have been a fire lane. Yeah, we had a courtyard in district 9.

I like exploring as much as the next guy but that year we had 20+ cars in a row in overflow was pretty sweet.

I still recall fondly in 2014 when some guy that looked like Reggie Watts in a kilt decided to direct cars instead of the LiveNation crew in Premier and he gave us all about two cars worth of space. Right after he parked our squad of people next to his 100 person squad, that had a built in dance floor on top of a retired bus, the workers there shut that shit down. What didn’t have to park and were able to accommodate a whole like army tent in our spare space for some strangers. Also there were some frat dudes that would play bubble butt every morning and twerk in the bed of their Toyota truck. It was a strange, beautiful year.

Being at Sasquatch on the Thursday of Memorial Day weekend, getting psyched for an awesome weekend while waiting in line to get a camping spot after the check stand. Hanging out of the windows and smelling that beautimus gorgey grass field air. Seeing the irrigation structures inviting you to drink Hennessy on top of them. Mmmm sweet fest. Alas, eating a gyro until you realize it has disappeared into your dominant hand, the night before the festivities. Meeting your neighbors, and drinking the grey water. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
