I'm pretty sure CHVRCHES will sub-sub-headline the main stage next year. I saw their new show last night, and they're ready for that big of a stage. And Lauren is one of the most charming and engaging band leaders out there.

CHVRCHES played early afternoon on the Bigfoot on Monday of 2013. Mumford & Sons played early afternoon on the Bigfoot in 2010 before headlining the festival in 2013. Of course, CHVRCHES aren't Mumford & Sons, but I'm not suggesting they'd headline. I think their show works best in the dark, but I think they have the wide appeal to play the main stage in the evening.

CHVRCHES aren't Mumford & Sons This is what I'm saying. I'll bet you a beer they sub-headline the Bigfoot (if there is such a thing). Maybe we're getting a bit particular with our speculation here. I think we all agree there's a good chance they'll play at some point during the weekend and probably not at 1:30 in the afternoon again.

CHVRCHES are fucking HUGE now. If they play they'll definitely be on the main stage.

The thought/talk of Radiohead at Sasquatch has brought me out of board hibernation. RADIOHEAD?! Yes please!! Also, I'm not sure about Alabama Shakes being there this year(as stated earlier in this thread). I'm think Thunderbitch is more likely (in my humble opinion). I'm also guessing we'll see The Cure, Radiohead(please), Chvrches, Big Grams and Four Tet(the last 2 confirmed for Okeechobee festival in March, so maybe they'll jump on the festival circuit this year). I'm really hoping for Battles and Metz, and possibly FKA Twigs, Chelsea Wolfe and Majical Cloudz.

I was internally speculating about Big Grams. I think it would be cool as hell if they played, I just wasn't sure if they were actually performing live together or if the album was just a one off thing.

As amazing as this would be, I highly doubt that it will ever happen. Which is really unfortunate. Pearl Jam can sell out multiple days at The Gorge on their own, plus they are rumored to be playing 15-20 dates through the winter in the eastern U.S., ending in Toronto the first weekend in May. If the rumors are true, that's a hefty tour for them and I just don't see them hitting The Gorge immediately after that. This is also their 25th anniversary, so they will more than likely have some sort of bash in the PNW later in the year. Just my thoughts on the subject. But being that Pearl Jam at The Gorge is the #1 show on my bucket list, I would like you to be right.

If there was any festival that could get them, I like to think it would be Sasquatch just because of the PNW connection. Mike McCready played the national anthem at Sasquatch a couple years ago, so that's a step in the right direction. But I do agree, the odds of it actually happening are next to nothing. Their propensity for 3+ hour sets and reputation as one of the best live bands in the world exclude them from almost all festivals in general, but it's fun to dream.

Just checked out the rumored Pearl Jam tour dates and I must say it works nicely to tour the southeast/east coast for a month or two, take two weeks off, then kick off the west coast tour by headlining Sasquatch. Still not likely, but my scientific method of just making shit up puts their statistical probability somewhere around 10% at this point.

Yeah, I think they're all stoked enough about the project (Big Boi certainly is) that they're planning on playing an array of dates... Definitely some festivals next year.
