Is anyone else still waiting to receive their wristbands in the mail? I'm starting to get a little worried. :/

Lots of people are. Not me, but lots of other people haven't got theirs yet.

No need to create two threads with the same question. There are very few other ways to get on the mods' bad sides quicker.

My ticket had a tracking number and arrived today. My wife's ticket didn't have a tracking number or the email saying it was even shipping and showed up yesterday. We did buy sepretely. Just odd

My boyfriend just received his this morning, and he ordered his nearly 2 weeks after I ordered mine (I still have yet to receive mine). We didn't get the shipping email either. I wouldn't worry too much though, the same thing happened to us last year.

Nobody in my group has gotten theirs yet. The whole shipping situation seems like a disorganized shitshow, and ticketmaster hasn't been very reassuring, but there's still weeks between now and when you should be worried.

As I was reading skinnerlurk's post just now, my doorbell rang and the post lady handed me my wristband!

Aargh! The pain. Everyone's getting theirs! I bought mine during the presale, so clearly they're not shipping out in any particular order. I'm going to rage harder about the forced 2-day shipping if I end up having to go to Will Call.

I bet they're taking longer to ship to Canada. No one else in my crew has theirs. Deep breaths!

Mine apparently came on Monday but they left a note saying I have to pick it up at the post office. I totally expected them to just drop it off under the mat or something.

It's my parents house in a pretty good neighbourhood. I'm pretty sure they are supposed to do that, but most mailpeople are just lazy.

Most mailpeople are just lazy. Seriously, I don't understand where the term "going postal" comes from. Their jobs require so little thought and effort, but they still make it complicated. I can't wait until Amazon takes over the mail system with their flying mail delivery robots, and the mail delivery people become completely obsolete.

The term 'going postal' comes from the fact that the mail never stops. At least not for another couple of years, anyway. It's a massive pile of work to be done, and it is done constantly, but the pile never gets any smaller. The definition of schizophrenia -- the act of repeatedly doing something the same way with the expectation of producing different results -- applies. As a postal worker, you perform your mechanical little task day in and day out, with the general notion in the back of your mind that if you keep working eventually the work will be done, but the mail keeps coming in and the work is never done.
I think it applies more to people who sort mail rather than those who deliver it. Anyone ever read The Great and Secret Show?

Edit: They aren't exactly underpaid either. I get your schizophrenia comparison though.
