Yeah I appreciate what they were trying to do with SGL but them playing at the same time as some of the Bigfoot sets really pissed me off and the red Satanic minotaur guy growling at me while I was staring off into space saucer-eyed was just about the last thing that I ever needed to have happen to me at the time. They didn't play at the same time. I don't think I ever noticed anything from the SGL stage bleeding over, but the Narwhal sure did. Nothing worse than getting into a show like Phosphorescent and then hearing a hip hop group (Gifted Gab perhaps?) playing in between songs. Talk about a mood killer.

QOTSA did the exact same thing at Squamish last year. I think they left the stage about 15 minutes early.

The Narwhal stage seemed a lot louder than last year, or maybe it was more noticeable because it ran later this year. I found it most irritating during Rodriguez and he seemed visibly annoyed by it between songs too.

I am 100% that they were playing a set over the end of a Bigfoot set. I distinctly remember times where you could hear Bigfoot, SGL, banana shack and Narwhal It seemed like they had it pretty dialed in to me. The SGL stage ended within seconds of the Bigfoot stage starting multiple times, almost like it was planned. But since I did not spend the entire festival camped between the two stages, I must admit defeat and defer to the opinions of others. If I'm going to trust any two boarders with the ability to recall specific details at Sasquatch, it's Fig and Goldbeard.

The Skype tent was also a bit loud if you were on the right side of Bigfoot.

They mostly had it dialed in. It really depended on the acts and it only really occurred in a small area of the lawn to the right of the Bigfoot stage where you had relatively unobstructed points between all the stages and a significantly loud act on each stage. I think I noticed it the most during Phantogram when I dropped back a bit to figure out what the funk was going on. Though I don't believe SGL was playing during that time. On other days I remember being able to hear them competing.

I remember the stages all going at once, and the sound bleed being pretty horrible if you weren't close to the stage. I only remember one occasion all weekend where SGL was part of the chaos. That Narwhal bass was pretty fucking annoying at times.
