Oh shit. I kept seeing you all talk about the Tourist but I thought he was playing in July. Guess I need to check him out now!

One of the comedians (Charlyne Yi) is no longer on the May lineup page. I'm curious what the plans are for the comedy lineup in May. July has 8 comedians right now and May only has 3, 4 if you count Princess (I don't).

No lie Wheatus was the first thing I downloaded from Napster. Snacks booked so much of the stuff we talk about on this board that I'm pretty disappointed that he hasn't booked Wheatus yet. Seems like a missed opportunity.

I didn't see the version of the poster with Sasquatch on it, so I was thinking no "live" show, but yeah that doesn't look good. More likely instead of him not playing, the day he plays will get moved. His live show will probably be a little to big for the dance tent too, so he'll most likely get moved to a late slot. My original thought, before the I saw the Italy situation, was that he would move to a late night Bigfoot set and I would freak out accordingly. Even if he plays Sunday night in Italy, that's a 12 hour flight, plus drive time from the Gorge to the airport, plus stage teardown, setup, and sound check. Moving Sasquatch too Friday night would interfere with Big Gigantic and piss me off even more. May would be a possibility, but as you pointed out, there is really nowhere to put them without pooping someone else. My only consolation in this is the thought that somewhere someone in an office is freaking out too and frantically making phone calls trying to get this resolved. I'm hoping for some official word on the situation in the next week. I just don't know if Bloody Beetroots can pull enough of an audience for the larger stage...granted I have no idea what *most* people listen to, so I guess I just don't know.

Exactly. I missed Rodriguez my first time I looked through the lineup, but he is in my top 10 I am most excited for. I'm think he was actually left off of the original poster that came out the night of the launch party. Yeah I looked back, I think you are right. I wonder why?

Ha, I was actually listening to them today! I like them just fine, but they were more like a "mild green" highlighter vs the "excited pink" of the other three on my Sasquatch spreadsheet.

Was way more impressed by Death Grips though. Clipping. will do a fine job filling that spot this year I wish they were playing in May with Chance, Kid Cudi, Tyler, De La Soul, etc. Also, I am interested in what artists in the lineup that should not be missed live. When I saw Active Child live at the Yeti stage only after hearing few of his songs in 2012 I was blown away. I have been browsing the artists music of course, but it's hard to determine what kind of show they will put on live.

Is there really this much concern about the freaking Bloody Beetroots? They (he) are (is) pretty awful, and even if they don't have the "live" shtick, it doesn't really matter because you can't hear the drums or other instruments over the bleepy bloopy womp womp anyway. I'm sure there will be something else better at that time (Kraftwerk?)

I'm sure there will be something else better at that time (Kraftwerk?) Last year the dance tent closers played opposite the late night set on the Bigfoot. It would be entirely possible to catch all of Kraftwerk then watch almost all of the Bloody Beetroots. Personally I think their live show looks pretty fun based on the video someone posted earlier.
