Personally, I like that there is 2 separate lineups but it would be nice if the player on the website and rdio playlist were separated.
You can choose to play a song from Maysquatch, but then once visiting the artists page there are artists from Julysquatch that show up. Would be cool to check out only artists from one Sasquatch at a time before diving into 100+ artists??

Nobody has mentioned Elbow, they're very high up in May and I've never heard of them. Can someone enlighten me? They're really really big in England and sound like a watered down U2 (ibU2soundslikewatereddownU2) U2, however watered down, is a horrible comparison to Elbow. Elbow is so uncool, it's what makes them cool. They are so big in Europe, they rarely make it stateside, because they have no draw. They headline festivals over there, like Kings of Leon big, yet they wouldn't sell out the Wonder Ballroom here in Portland (under 1,000 capacity). "One Day Like This" is a super sappy catchy song they always play live. When they played Coachella a couple years ago, it was a tiny crowd, but everyone attending the festival from Europe was there having a blast, in disbelief they could get so close to the stage. It was one of the highlights of the festival actually. It was the happiest 400 people I saw in one spot that weekend.

Man, and Sasquatch has so few people that actually come from outside of North America. I could probably get on stage if I tried.

There is a band playing in May called Hobosexual. I feel that everyone should check them out based on their name alone.

The Facebook page can't be any worse than some of the shit on the Reddit page. People are fucking whining about not being allowed to switch weekend passes "because the lineup is lame" and they are also complaining that the early bird pre-sale price of $325 is the same as the general on-sale price. At least they already have tickets. Fuckers.

I've never been on the Squatch Reddit page, is it better than the Facebook?

I'm not on Facebook, so I've never actually been on the Facebook page. I don't even remember how I ended up on the Reddit page. It's just where life took me.

It's nothing compared to the idiots on the Facebook page though.

The reddit page stinks because it's just a hivemind of college radio alt-rock and if you disagree you just have nobody really willing to converse.

Maybe I sound like a moody mid twenty something dude(shit, wait I am!), but is anyone else as excited as I am to see Sharon Van Etten at Julysquatch? I find everything she does musically just mesmerizing. Its kind of melancholy, kind of monotone. But to me its pure fucking gold to my eardrums.

I'm definitely going to be at that set. Her set last time she played was perfection.

Sick day, got bored. Figured I'd share this since you all kept me so entertained last night. Looks like 8 acts per stage daily, sometimes less. 95 acts in May and 92 acts in July Also unrelated note, looks like a sponsors have changed a bit this year too. Esurance and Alaska aren't mentioned on the site, and neither is Koakanee. They have 6 listed on the site. Bud Light, Rdio, Redbull Sound Select, WA Healthplanfinder, Wexley School for Girls and Do206. Wonder if thatll change anything, or just the typical sponsor banners.
