Easy Street Records in Seattle has been selling tickets to Nick Cave at the Paramount for awhile, but Santy don't come out in the summatime, dudes.

Holy shit, that is the worst festival lineup I've seen all day. Is it because of Jack Johnson? That dude is all over the festival circuit this year. It must be the Johnson/Nutsack combo.

The Seattle date wasn't there originally. It was just the Portland date on July 5th. Here, 'cause I have too much time on my hands, I found this in the lineup predictions thread: Nick Cave definitely out for Maysquatch, with slight chance at Julysquatch. Not really holding out hope for it though. I think Julysquatch is highly possible for Nick. He's playing Seattle on the 2nd and the next date in the tour is the 5th in Portland.

Because Nick Cave is old and needs gaps in his schedule.
He has lots of gaps that big, I wouldn't read too much into it.

I am reading so much into it that I am coming out of it and then going back around in through the other side of it.

I wonder if we'll get any revealing tour dates tomorrow. Last year on Launch Party Day we got confirmation of Vampire Weekend, and Postal Service announced dates as well that made them a strong possibility, if I recall correctly. I'll take any news that might ease the pain of sitting through eight hours of lecture and two tests tomorrow.

Mastodon at the Gorge was awesome, and I have been hoping to see them again with a longer set. They are touring with Gojira and Kvelertak. That's a pretty good bill. I can see Kvelertak possibly being booked for Sasqautch, but I doubt Gojira would be, unfortunately.

Hmmm... I've had them on my list of possible sleepers since last year. After the reaction Red Fang and Torche got last year, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see them there.

While listening to the new Bombay Bicycle Club record, I was prompted to double check their tour dates. They're playing the PNW in late April but I am going to go ahead and dream of a Maysquatch appearance anyway because they will still be in the States around that time, with nothing scheduled.

Daw, but I just saw they are on the Not Gon' Happen list. That list is my nightmare.

I am not sure how reliable this source is but my friend was talking to a classmate that interns for the festival and she advised him that Prince was booked for July fest and pulled out. Now they are thinking that people will be pissed about who is headlining that weekend because there won't be a huge draw like Outkast for May.
Kinda cool if it is true because it confirms that Outkast is in for May. Kinda sucks for obvious reasons. Who knows though, I don't know this person.
