There seems to be a growing trend of DJs that come away from Sasquatch having played one of their favorite sets ever. We sure know how to treat them well out there.

Didn't he just not have a ticket for that day and drank to numb the pain? Probly shoulda wandered looking for a ticket but drinking the sadness away works too I guess. Pretty much this -- I was in a really bad spot financially that year, and they had not announced their impending breakup yet, so I sold my ticket and camped and figured I'd catch them on the next tour. Despite that, I still stood at the edge of the campground drinking and chainsmoking and trying not to be too weepy. My sympathy for your loss is no longer now that I know you sold your ticket. Not having a ticket or not being able to afford one is completely different than selling what you own. Did you considered selling your body first? However, the LCD show was "spectacular" because of the Teen Wolf dance. Had the same thing happened at Tegan & Sara, everyone will still be losing their shit over how amazing it was.

Did you considered selling your body first? It was that or eviction and homelessness. Hindsight is 20/20, and like I said, nobody knew it was going to be that incredible, nor one of their last shows ever.

Even though you apparently live in Seattle, and I live in Portland, I can smell your bullshit from here. You are a upper/middle class kid from Seattle who made an incredibly stupid decision. Am I'm supposed to believe your only option was being homeless? There are poor people sleeping under the bridge two blocks from here who would gladly kick you in the throat for a nickle, and I will gladly pay them $10 per kick.

I needed money, and my hours were getting cut at work. I could've up and moved out of my house, leaving my other 4 roommates out to dry with an extra $535 hole in the rent for the remainder of our lease, irreparably damaging our friendship in the process. Or I could sell my Sasquatch ticket, go anyway, have a great time, camp, drink, have a blast, and miss a few concerts. I made my decision, I stand by it, even though it was a bummer. I'm over it. Whether or not you agree is up to you, but frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

I'm missing the point of that gif, I think... because I said I had fun? Poor me, having fun? I know, right.

You could afford to get drunk instead of going to the show, you could afford to have made it all the way out there in the first place... I think you probably just have money management issues.

20 bucks for gas, 20 bucks for beer vs. a 300 dollar ticket... What?

Anyway, it's all a moot point because I don't care anymore. I don't know why I'm explaining myself. What's done is done.

Ohhhhh, you didn't go to ANY of the days. You were one of the sponges taking up space in the outrageously overcrowded campgrounds and shitting in the Honey Buckets that we ticketholders were paying for while simultaneously having our sphincters tickled by the mountain of Unpayed Guest shit.
In other words, the reason why the price of camping is included in the price of festival passes and is no longer available separately. Explain to me again why I'm supposed to feel sympathetic?

I'm pretty sure I never asked anyone for sympathy.
