Because he is duh. Back then I thought for sure I was going to be settled down raising kids with any of the following: Rob Thomas, Justin Timberlake, Tim Armstrong, Aaron Carter or Jeremy Popoff.
And Shaun White but he doesn't make music...yet.

Fuck I forgot about having Tubthumper!!!! My mom made me stop listening to it on one trip to the beach because she got sick of me singing "drip drip drip goes the water" underneath my breath.

Who knew even HG would have at least one album already mentioned here. This is bizarre.

Seems we all share a common thread of parents puttin' the kaibosh on us listening to swearzes, sex, bad god talk, and provocative artwork. I find it funny how anal my parents were over the new music I was listening to but didn't mind when I listened to the all the crazy drug references, overt sexuality and general bad behavior of The Stones and all the other 60's n' 70's tunes my dad constantly played for us and encouraged us to listen to.
But at the same time, as a parent it would be weird to hear your little kid singing this at the breakfast table,
Girl I want to make you sweat, Sweat 'till you can't sweat no more, And if you cry-y, I'm gonna push it, push it some mo-o-ore.

Absolutely. That's a great record.
I don't think I ever bought a record that I wouldn't still listen to today.

My mom caught me with Korn's Issues and lost her fucking mind. I still remember one of her hilarious quotes:
"Well FUCK sure seems to be the word of your generation! Isn't that FUCKING nice!"

My parents didn't care as much about swearz as much as bad situations and bad messages.
