I saw one comedy act each time I went to Sasquatch. 2008 we sat through this awful lip-synced musical about the recession. 2009, if anyone saw it, was a relatively high-quality improvised horror movie. 2010 was Patton Oswalt, who is my absolute favorite but had to leave early to get to BSS's set.

Yeah thats what I do, if no bands interest me its off to the comedy tent for a little water and relaxation. Paul F. Thomkins killed it last year I seriously had a nap on the lawn just outside the tent during this. At the start, it felt like the worst comedy set I'd seen in ages. Then I crashed out, so if it got better, I didn't see that part.

Maybe its because I was extremely wasted at the time and thought anything was funny, but I sure did laugh

Listening to a podcast of comedy death ray (before it was bang bang) while I was making the trek up to the Gorge from Santa Cruz, CA nearly put me to sleep at the wheel. Thankfully that was not the case, because it would have greatly reduced my chances of attending Sasquatch last year.

Ugh, don't you just hate pictures of dudes looking seductive in front of a backdrop of flowers? I mean, really.

So I guess we'll have to wait to learn the schedule until early May, like last year?

There should be no reason why the day-by-day schedule isn't up yet...

There should be no reason why the day-by-day schedule isn't up yet... It's because Radiohead is being added soon obviously.

I WISH Sasquatch was big enough to host Radiohead... but I'm seeing them in Seattle on the 9th so that'll do I guess. I'd rather see them at the Gorge but that's a pipe dream.

So I guess we'll have to wait to learn the schedule until early May, like last year? Look, y'all, that gives us plenty of time to prepare for whatever and decide upon any conflicts. Plus it's an exciting indicator of it's coming it's coming it's coming it's coming

Is it out of the question to think that the each day will start and end a couple hours later this year than previous Sasquatch's? Back when single day tickets were still sold, people who would only go for the day might be less inclined to stay until the end of a late night set. That could also explain why the last day of the fest ends the soonest and lacks a late set, since everyone needs to leave fairly soon after it.
I figured the reason why Sasquatch would close relatively early was because of sound curfews (if those even exist). If the fest this year could start around 2pm and finish at 2:30am I would be very happy.

It is a sound ordinance. The start and end times will not change unless the law does.

It is a sound ordinance. The start and end times will not change unless the law does. The Laws Must ChangeThe time must surely come For the laws to fit the times The time must surely come For the laws to fit the times But while the law is standing You've got to open up your minds It seems to be the fashion To say you're right and they are wrong It seems to be the fashion To say you're right and they are wrong But if you don't see both sides You'll find yourself in jail 'fore long You're screaming at policemen But they're only doing a gig You're screaming at policemen But they're only doing a gig Try and take the time To figure out how the issue got that big Lenny Bruce was trying to tell you Many things before he died Lenny Bruce was trying to tell you Many things before he died Like don't throw rocks at policemen But get the knots of law untied Every time you're holding You are guilty of a crime Every time you're holding You are guilty of a crime The laws must change one day But it's going to take some time

There's a new electronic event hosted at the Gorge this June and according to their facebook event page they will have music playing until 2 AM. Hopefully the sound ordinance has been changed this year. Here's the link; www.facebook.com/events/311923278873296/
