Yeah dude, the Jeff Magnum set was dead. I walked by and it seemed there was a way bigger crowd for St. Vincent.
I think he would be more fitting for Sasquatch, because Coachella is a music festival on speed, but thats one of the things I love about Coachella. One end of the field you could chill and watch Jeff Magnum and on the other end you could sahara the fuck out to one of the Swedish House Mafia dudes. If you can't find something to get excited about there then you are trying too hard to not like it.

in it) But I think the ball was dropped on many acts, most notably First Aid Kit, Jeff Mangum, and Chris Baio solo just off the top of my head. Yeah, fuck you Snacks for not booking the bassist for Vampire Weekend! (I absolutely had to google this) Don't forget he's also Chachi's cousin!

I should also add that I think it's a really good thing that Mangum wasn't booked for Sasquatch. The reports I read said that his crowd for Coachella wasn't huge (though it was dedicated) and it seems like the appropriate place for his performance is in front of a devoted crowd. I'm sure he would have been great at Sasquatch but it doesn't make much sense to pay a ton of money so that 1/10th of the audience is excited. I'm sure everyone who saw his shows at the Moore or Crystal enjoyed that a lot more than they would have at Sasquatch. Yet another reason why I was previously willing to bet much moneys that Jeff Mangum would never play Coachella (until that actually happened).

Did anyone else catch fun. on Letterman last night? They were fucking horrendous. The lead singer sounds like shit live and he's very strange to watch. That being said, I will still probably wander by their set to see the train wreck in person.
Is this still where the board is thinking of meeting up?

Me and my friend Courtney that's coming with me were going over the schedule, and said that their first album was really good. I responded with the fact that I had no idea they had 2 albums. Can anybody second this claim?

If we're throwing out random meetups I'm throwing out Beardyman. It would be easy to find everyone at that point in the day in the tent and I think he looks like he will be a party and a half.
